Clara was busy preparing dinner when Emily walked in, exhausted from another long day at her new business.

Emily dropped her bag on the couch, pulled out a stool, and sat at the counter, rubbing her temples.

"Another long day?" Clara asked concerned and Emily nodded.

"Mom, I'm swamped. I feel like I'm doing everything myself. I need to hire more staff." Emily complained. She had never had to work this hard her whole life so she couldn't cope with having to work such long hours.

Clara sighed as she stirred her pot of food. She knew starting a business would be stressful; as the mistress of the Thompson's home for many years, she had watched many new businesses crumble from bad decisions.
