45: An interesting offer - Part 3

Aria exhaled slowly, a slight frown on her face. This had become an annoying habit. These people had better have a good reason for constantly following her around. Her patience was wearing thin.

As she turned to leave, something in her gut told her she wasn't done yet. 

It wasn't the usual tingling she got from her magic; it was something else, an instinct she had honed over years of being on edge in a world full of power-hungry people. She wasn't alone anymore.

From the shadows, two figures appeared, walking toward her with purpose. Aria's eyes narrowed as she did not recognize.

"Well, well, look what we have here," 

Leglois said with a smirk, not even bothering to acknowledge the fallen bodies of the stalkers. 

"Seems like we're cleaning up after someone else's mess again."

Aiden, standing beside his sister, rolled his shoulders and adjusted the straps on his jacket, his eyes locked on Aria.
