55: Trap Lineup- Part 2

The sudden deluge extinguished the remaining flames on the orc, but it also served another purpose. The floor was now slick with water, making it difficult for the orc to maintain its footing.

As it charged toward Liam, it slipped, crashing to the ground with a thunderous impact.

"Okay, that's progress."

Liam muttered, already moving toward the next plate. This one was marked with an earth symbol. When he activated it, large stone pillars erupted from the ground, forming a barrier between him and the orc.

The creature roared in frustration, smashing its club against the pillars in an attempt to break through. The sound echoed through the chamber, but the barriers held firm—for now.

Liam's mind raced. He needed a way to finish this. The orc was still too strong, and he couldn't keep running forever. His eyes landed on the final pressure plate, marked with an air symbol.

"That has to do something."

He muttered, dashing toward it.
