At age 23, Liam Sanders had tasted everything life had to throw at him. As an orphan at birth and a victim of the system, he lived his life believing that he was just an ordinary person. His life was filled with misery, but there was one ray of hope in his life- his girlfriend.

"I don't want to go to work. My body hurts. Who knew using magic could be this taxing?"

Liam complained as he tried to get out of bed, but his legs and back collapsed. His muscles were tense, and taking every step hurt.

But his body's needs could not be avoided, and Liam forced himself to head to the toilet and do his business.

Warm water helped relax Liam's muscles, but he still did not feel like he was in a condition to head to work. However, taking a day off was not an option, so he quickly headed down to eat breakfast.

As soon as Liam reached the kitchen, he had another revelation.

"Oh yeah! I will have to cook my own food for the next few days. Sigh I will miss Elder Erin and his cooking. It saved me so much time during the morning rush."

Liam quickly got to work and cooked a simple meal for himself and Asger.

The reason he had to do this, and the reason Elder Erin was not in his house, had to do with the collapsed temple.
