Elder Erin was someone Liam needed to be suspicious of. But that was for his future. For now, he had a plan for how to live his life.
"Don't worry, Asger. I don't intend to be anyone's sacrificial piece. I'll play along for now."
Liam continued, stretching his arms behind his head.
Asger grumbled something under his breath but didn't protest further. Instead, he kept a sharp eye on Elder Erin as Liam finished getting ready.
When Liam stepped outside, Elder Erin was already waiting, dressed in a crisp black coat that made him look more like a noble than a mage.
"You're surprisingly punctual."
Elder Erin commented.
Liam shrugged.
"I'm curious about where we're going."
Elder Erin gave a knowing smile.
"Then let's not waste time."
