The assassin disappeared in front of Liam's eyes, and Liam was not able to keep up.

But just because his eyes could not keep up did not mean he was unable to react to what the assassin wanted to do.

Liam felt a presence heading toward his shoulder, and he instinctively dodged the attack, gaining some distance between himself and his attacker.

But even as he did that, Liam realized one thing—the hand never reached for him. It had been trying to grab something that was on his shoulder.

'Fuck! Is that assassin after Asger and not me? This makes things complicated. Is this a case of trafficking? In this dungeon? Did that fucker Victor know about this? Was this some kind of twisted revenge scheme from him?'

Liam questioned as he got ready for combat. He felt prepared to fight but annoyed at the same time.

"Did that human try and grab me? Let me at him! I will bite him so hard that he won't be able to live properly after that. I will—"
