The Fall II

Safwane was descending through a dark and endless ocean, he was unconscious but his wounds seemed to have healed.

Suddenly, in all the darkness, the young man seemed to hit the bottom.

However, this was not what it seemed... Dark, emaciated and rotten hands began to grab Safwane.

In the absolute darkness, the presence of thousands of unpleasant creatures began to be noticed, which climbed steadily trying to reach Safwane, as if he were a trophy.

Slowly, the hands climbed up the young emperor's body, the hands tore his skin and some even penetrated it.

Safwane began to become aware, with his mind empty, the unpleasant sounds of the creatures began to flood it.

The young man's eyes finally opened, but it was not by his own will, the rotten hands had already reached his face.

Out of the corner of his eye he could see how the creatures opened their mouths full of sharp teeth ready to start devouring him.

'This is how I'm going to end up...' Safwane thought sadly.

He had been someone who had never known defeat in a battle, it was the only thing he was proud of... but now he had lost the only thing he had.

Safwane had lost his will.

With his heart filled with pain, and feeling an immense emptiness in it, he began to forget his purpose.

The young man bit his lips hard, causing blood to begin to flow.

The young emperor began to remember the last words he could hear from the man, his body began to burn with anger.

Safwane gritted his teeth.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" he said angrily.

After saying those words, he grabbed the head of a creature that was trying to bite him and squeezed it hard, causing it to burst.

"I'm going to kill you all, shitty creatures" he said with hatred.

The creatures remained silent for a few seconds and ended up unleashing an unpleasant shriek.

Their number was immense, which made Safwane's ear start to bleed.

The young man covered his ears and frowned angrily.

After the screams, the creatures rushed towards Safwane and some that were holding him opened their mouths trying to finish him off.

The young man unsheathed his katana and began to cut the creatures, but their immense number meant that he could only defend himself.

Safwane ended up finishing off the creatures that were holding him, causing him to lose his support and fall down.

Beneath him were a large number of creatures that waited for him to fall to attack him.

'As if I were going to die like this...' Safwane thought.

Using the katana he launched a stab piercing a creature that was falling next to him. He pulled it and used it as a shield before falling to the ground, avoiding the attacks from hitting him.

Already on the ground, Safwane found himself surrounded by thousands of hungry creatures and with a firm desire to kill him.

Safwane looked up letting out a sigh.

He was used to battles, after all he had conquered countless kingdoms. But now everything he had done was useless.

As he looked at the darkness that surrounded him, the young man remembered the day he lost everything and his painful defeat. His heart burned with anger.

Safwane tightly gripped the handle of the katana.

In his mind there was only one thing that was the desire to take revenge on that man and to achieve that he had to start from the bottom.

"Have fun while you can..." the young man stammered as he turned his gaze towards the creatures.

Hours passed or maybe days, the concept of time was insignificant in this place. Safwane had to fight hundreds of constant battles, but the number of creatures only increased.

'How long have I been here...' Safwane thought exhausted.

But strangely, the creatures began to attack the young man in smaller numbers... that was due to a strange and enormous crack that had appeared in the darkness.

The crack emitted a powerful light that weakly illuminated the place. Safwane, on the other hand, was sitting on a large number of creatures that he had killed.

The young man observed the crack with many doubts in his mind... why did the creatures enter through that crack? What was behind it? Should he go through it?

The emperor did not know how to behave for the first time in his life, but the creatures had already stopped being able to confront him and now they were fewer.

Safwane could not complete his revenge if he stayed here forever.

The young man made a final decision, he stood up.

He walked towards the crack, with a firm desire for revenge and knowing that whatever there is will only be an obstacle to his goal.

"The instinct of the human being is to hunt and compete for his life and honor, among brave people this is understood..."
