Chapter-03

Women are like dandelions. A flower that symbolizes resilience, growth, and the ability to thrive in challenging situations. The woman I married twenty years ago without even meeting. Because after marriage, the woman chose to return to the capital. While the man chose to continue his studies abroad. And when the man returned, he was reunited with his little wife who worked in the same company as the man.

"Gibran, I don't have any friends to watch the concert," said someone.

Gibran's gaze, which was originally focused on Naura, was immediately distracted when he heard a voice that somehow could make Gibran's eardrums burst. "What are you doing here? I didn't ask!" Gibran said.

"How come you're like that Gib. I want to watch the concert with you, I already bought the ticket."

Tasya. The woman who had just arrived was Tasya, Gibran's little friend. Wherever Gibran went, Tasya was the first person who always followed Gibran. So Tasya's parents fully trusted Gibran if she came with him. But what happened was that sometimes Gibran was uncomfortable with Tasya's presence. The woman always took advantage of Gibran's position as the owner of the company to oppress many people. Tasya was not like other women, that's why she didn't have many friends. Hence, she liked to snoop on Gibran wherever he went.

"I'm busy, Sya. You just watch it by yourself. Am I the only friend you have?" Gibran snorted.

Crowded places were not Gibran's favorite thing, he preferred quiet and lonely places. A place like that would make Gibran calm in every way. But what happened was that this loud woman really disrupted his life.

"You know I only have you, Gib. If not you, who else would want to go out with me. I don't have any boyfriends, let alone friends."

And one more thing, Gibran disliked it the most when Tasya always introduced herself to everyone as Tasya's lover. Whereas what happened was not at all, Gibran and Tasya did not have a special relationship. But Tasya's life was all dependent on Gibran.

"But I can't!" Gibran refused again.

Here Tasya's eyes glazed over at Gibran's rejection. While abroad, whatever Tasya wanted, Gibran always said yes. But why is it that in the capital city, Gibran keeps rejecting Tasya? Yesterday too, when Tasya said she hadn't eaten and wanted to eat with Gibran, the man also rejected Tasya. Now just to accompany her to watch a concert, Gibran immediately refused?

"Why do you think Gib came back from Aussie and changed so much? It's like I'm no longer Lo's main goal." Complained Tasya

Gibran looked at Tasya for a moment, "I hope you haven't forgotten what my main purpose in returning to the capital was."

Tasya rolled her eyes lazily. She knew quite well what Gibran's reason for returning was. But that didn't mean that what Tasya wanted always got rejected by Gibran, right? This was just a childhood wife issue, not a big deal. After all, childhood marriages were not considered invalid. And again, it is certain that they will forget each other even though they are bound by marriage. The passage of time changes a lot, Gibran will not know his childhood wife. Likewise with the woman who must have forgotten how Gibran looked all this time.

"I know. But all this time your search has been fruitless. You don't know who your childhood wife is, Gib."

Gibran raised one eyebrow and smiled a little. "Hmm, but I know very well who my childhood wife is, Tasya."

Brak...

Naura's eyes blinked a few times after someone hit her from behind. The milky coffee she had just brought fell innocently on the floor of the office lobby. It was certain that many eyes immediately looked at Naura with eyes that made too.

"You have no eyes!!!" Naura shouted in annoyance.

This is Naura's first day of the month. She has tried to keep her mood from falling apart. Keeping her emotions from exploding, not even one employee dared to approach Naura. But this one ... she deliberately bumped into Naura from behind and spilled her milky coffee.

"Heh ... you have no eyes. You know I'm passing by, why are you still there!"

Naura's eyes glared perfectly. "You really have blind eyes!!! I'm here walking out of the office, while you're coming out of the elevator not seeing what's going on. It's office hours if you forgot, at least look ahead and not down!"

"Why are you so angry!!!"

How not to be annoyed if the enemy is a cocky person like the woman in front of him. Naura walked on the right path, she walked quite slowly because there were several employees who ran out of the office. Maybe because they were catching the final bus this afternoon, while the woman who had just exited the elevator immediately hit Naura. And can still blame Naura for standing in the middle of the road. Seriously!!!

"You-"

"What's all the fuss about?" Someone said,

Naura pouted when she realized who had just come and separated their argument. What Naura really wanted was to vent her emotions that were held back because of the pain in her stomach. But everything failed because of Gibran's arrival.

"Gibran is mad at me, calling me blind again." Tasya said. Yes, that woman was Tasya. The spoiled woman who had been disturbing Gibran's life.

Naura saw her hands staring at Gibran and also the coquettish woman in disgust. "My milk coffee fell because of her." Naura pointed at Tasya who was still showing a disgusting look. "She hit me from behind after getting out of the elevator. You know it's after work, so many people are walking fast to get back to their homes. But that woman ran like a child and hit me."

"Heh, you can't blame me. It was clearly your fault for standing in the middle of the road when I passed by. Your coffee falling was your fault for not holding it properly. You don't know who I am until you dare to blame me?"

Naura's eyebrows raised as she assessed the appearance of the woman beside Gibran with a glare. "Boss's girlfriend? Wife-to-be? A love interest? Or what?" Naura sneered boldly. "You think I'll be afraid of who you are here? Heh ... listen, there is no story that Naura is afraid of people like you, even though you have something to do with the boss. I'm not afraid of you!" Naura exclaimed loudly.

An emotionally provoked Tasya wanted to shout back, but was quickly stopped by Gibran. Pulling the woman to hide behind his body. Of course it immediately made Naura smile mockingly.

"Clean the office floor, then you can go home Naura!" Gibran ordered and made Naura's eyes glare perfectly.

What did he say?
