Two Hotties in Both Arms

"Hey, but you were the one who was present during the marriage registration," he reminded her.

"Whatever…" Rebecca replied lazily, yawning.

Elric Hudson, the man on the other line, was getting annoyed at her nonchalant attitude. But Rebecca is Hudson's Corp.'s treasure. He has no choice but to put up with her coldness.

"Well, fine, let's put it that way… but don't you want to compete with him? I'm sure you prepared something for a counterattack, right?"

"Counterattack, you say…" Rebecca rolled toward the window and watched the outside scenery as the train slowly departed Bellarus Train Station. The snow crystals are falling magically. As she's dozing off, she bids farewell. "The train is moving now… Let's talk about that when I arrive in Zurich."

"Whoa, wait, don't hang up yet!"

"What do you want, then?" she asked impatiently.

Elric replied subtly, his eyes fixed on the group entering the restaurant. "Well… Speaking of the devil, your ex-husband entered at the door."

"The door what?" Rebecca rubbed her left cheek, annoyed that Elric just kept spouting vague sentences. 'Should I guess what he is talking about?'

"Well, you told me to meet you in Zurich, so here I am in the city and have booked you a suite in the Park Hyatt. I was in the restaurant for supper, and now I see your ex-husband come to dine with two hotties in both arms." Elric didn't mention that Aleckin wasn't alone with the beauties; his friends were also present.

Upon hearing that, Rebecca rolled her eyes in irritation. She thought Elric had held her up to discuss significant matters, such as a problem in his company. But the man only wanted to talk about garbage.

"Elric, if nothing else, I'll hang up now."

"Hey, hear me out first! Would you like me to change hotels since Aleckin is also at Park Hyatt?"

Rebecca fell silent momentarily. After pondering briefly, she replied. "That's alright. He hasn't seen my actual face, so he will not recognize me. Bye."

Before the man could reply, Rebecca cut off the call and turned off her gadget.

In the meantime, Elric was left speechless. "I was the boss, but I was the one who needed to lengthen the patience and please her! Tsk."

Elric sighs dejectedly. Even though he is whining, that is only half-hearted. After all, Rebecca contributed significantly to his success by not falling behind Ferrero Motors.

When he took over managing the dying company, Rebecca helped him sell more cars until they produced sports cars and supercars in the last two years.

Hudson Corp. has been steadily competing with Ferrero Motors, a legend in this industry.

ALECKIN'S POV

Aleckin exited his car and walked steadily to the hotel entrance. A valet greeted him. The hotel staff was already familiar with him, as he is frequent there.

"Aleck!" Zoren called him out on the lounge sofa, waving his right hand. Aleckin frowned at his behavior as if he was still in elementary.

"What are you? A little boy?" Aleckin immediately reprimanded Zoren when he approached them. Although he decided to expose himself in public more often, he would not be used to it automatically. There was still reluctance in his system.

"Hey, bro! Did you wake up in the wrong bed this morning?" Instead of getting angry, Zoren teases him.

Aleckin opened his mouth to retort at Zoren, but two beautiful ladies hurried to his side and clung to his arms.

"Aleck, it's been a long time!"

"Yeah! You haven't been visiting the US for so long!"

The two women were twins. Aleckin narrowed his gaze at their hands encircled in his arms. Then, his gaze shot at Zoren. Gladly, the guy understood immediately. He pulled his two cousins and apologized to Aleckin.

"I'm sorry, Aleck. I have no plan to bring them with me, but Mom insists on taking them around."

Aleckin didn't like the idea, but he had nothing to do now since they were here already.

"We're famished! Let's have supper!" The twin suggested.

Aleckin was forced to come along, even though he wasn't hungry. The restaurant was filled with elite guests as usual, but since the manager knew he was coming, a table was already reserved for them.

When someone approached their table, Aleckin had just touched the cushion of his seat.

"Oh my, look who's here!" With a grin on his face, Elric approached Aleckin. The latter frowned upon recognizing him.

"It is you. What can I do for you, Young Master Hudson?"

Elric laughs at Aleckin's cold treatment toward him. He realizes that Rebecca's coldness is more terrifying than her husband's. So he could say Aleckin was no match for his wife.

"Ay, drop the formality, man. After all, we are both here for pleasure, right?" Elric widened his grin, his words screaming with taunt.

Aleckin was displeased with Elric's assumption. He corrected him with a long face. "We're here for supper, nothing more. If there's anything else, you can excuse yourself, Young Master Hudson."

Elric chuckled. "Ay, come on, man. Don't get my words wrong. I actually came over to congratulate you."

Aleckin glared at him sideways. "Well then, no, thank you. It's typical for us to launch a new brand model. However, I know that Hudson Corp. is also brewing something. I'm actually looking forward to the day you release your new car."

Aleckin's words are like a slap in Elric's face. Rebecca has shared no project plans with him yet, so he cannot confirm or boast in front of Aleckin.

"Hey, I didn't come over for that." Elric chuckled to hide his awkwardness.

Aleckin creased his forehead. Looking at the man suspiciously. "Enlighten me then, Young Master."

"Well, I'm congratulating you on your divorce. As I could see, you were throwing a party tonight," Elric said, then he mused inwardly.

'Just wait until your ex-wife arrives tomorrow. I'll throw a grand welcome to her! That's right! I should do that!' At that moment, Elric devises a plan.

On the other hand, Aleckin's face darkened upon hearing Elric's reply. He asked, "How did you know that?"

The only people who knew about the divorce were his friends. They couldn't betray him for spreading the news, so where did Elric learn about it?

Aleckin had these questions that Elric could only answer.

Elric grinned. He replied, "Well, how I knew about your divorce is unimportant. What am I trying to say—it is such a loss for you to let go of a brilliant person… What you discarded is someone's treasure; do you know that? So I'm actually grateful to you, Mr. Ferrero."

Elric peered at the twins seated on both sides of Aleckin. He smiled dazzlingly at them and said, "Adieu, ladies!"

The twins giggled. "Bye, handsome!"

"Aw, he's cute!"

"I think he's still a boy. I like it!"

The twins whispered to each other, giggling between words.

"Wait up!" Aleckin holds Elric up out of his irritation with the twins' gossipy behavior. This is not how a proper lady is supposed to act.

Elric is about to head to the door after he delivers his speech. But Aleckin stopped him. He turned around, and Aleckin was annoyed that he was still grinning like a crazy dog.

"Elric, why do you make such a remark as if you know my ex-wife well? Or are you talking about a different person?" The last time he checked, his wife was mentally impaired.

"Aleck?" The two girls on Aleckin's side gasped in shock at his confirmation that he was indeed once married. "So the rumors that you are married are true?"

Aleckin ignored the twin's query. He rose from his seat and stood before Elric, waiting for his answer.

Elric wasn't bothered by Aleckin's intimidating presence. In fact, he also exudes the same aura from his body. He may be years younger, but he isn't afraid of Aleckin. It's probably because he has a trump card in his hand.

"Of course, I knew well of your wife, Mr. Ferrero," his only reply to Aleckin's question. Elric tapped him on the back, then he turned around and left.

Aleckin was left speechless. How should he react from here?

His wife is a total stranger to him. His grandfather used to say how wonderful his wife was, but he didn't believe that. Hence, he went personally yesterday to hand in the divorce. And it was such a terrible encounter because his nominal wife acted as if she had a mental condition.

But now, another person is telling him that what he let go is a treasure.

'Ha! Is something wrong in Elric's eyes? He may need a specialist ophthalmologist!'

••

The following day, Aleckin frowned upon seeing the crowd in the lobby. Hotel staff lining up, waiting for someone's arrival.

Zoren tailed Aleckin. He asked, "What's going on? Is there a royal princess who will come and stay at the hotel?"

Aleckin has no idea. But he was irate that his path was blocked. Pissed, he turned around to look for another door when he saw Elric had just exited the elevator, carrying a bouquet of tulips.

The man was dazzling, almost blinding everyone who lounged in the hotel lobby.

"Good morning, Aleckin!"

As usual, Elric wore a grin on his face. Aleckin started to believe that his smile carried a mock toward him. 'What did I do to him that he seemed to have a hidden hatred for me?'

It is true that they competed within the same industry, but not to the point of hurting each other; they played a fair fight.

Aleckin put aside any unnecessary thoughts at the back of his head. He decided to return to his suite when a black car stopped in front of the hotel.

"Hey, Becca!"

Aleckin heard Elric greet someone at the door. He looks over his shoulder, but the crowd blocks his line of sight.

"Welcome to Park Hyatt Hotel, milady!" The crowd, composed of hotel staff and managers, warmly welcomes Rebecca.

Shocked, Rebecca almost dropped her jaw on the floor. The warm welcome is too exaggerated. She glared at Elric and questioned the guy. "What is the meaning of this, Elric?"

Elric did not reply but laughed heartily. "Come on. I request the head chef to prepare your favorite dishes!"

Elric dragged Rebecca toward the buffet restaurant. It happened that they were passing Aleckin. But Rebecca walks straight without sparing a glance at her ex-husband.

Aleckin, on the other hand, was frozen on the floor. He was about to head to the elevator when the woman spoke. Her voice sounded like someone he didn't want to meet again, but she couldn't be there.

The woman walked past him, but he could not make out her face because she was wearing a red, wide-brimmed hat that covered her entire face.

"Who is she? Elric's girlfriend?" Zoren inquired.

"I don't think so…" It's too late for Aleckin to realize that he blurted out his thoughts.

Zoren and others shared puzzled looks. They wonder if Aleckin knew that woman.

"Let's grab something before we visit the racetrack," Aleckin announced, ignoring his friend's odd look toward him.

His friends were left astonished. He, who knocked on their doors and woke them up early in the morning to get ready. But now he wants to delay?

"What's gotten into him?"

His friends have no idea what was running through his head after his divorce.
