### Chapter 22: Farmer Hunts Wild, Five Kills Supreme!

Qin Ming remained calm, slowly putting away the beast hide scripture in his hand. A faint smile appeared on his face.

He then took out a small pouch from his storage bag and, with a respectful gesture, addressed the two Spirit Feather Sect patrol members:

"You two have worked hard. This is a small token of my appreciation. Please keep an eye out for me when you pass through the alley."

With that, he offered the pouch to them.

The two patrol members exchanged glances, their lips curling into a sneer.

At that moment, Qin Ming was only a few steps away from them. Just as he was about to move—

"Well, well, isn't this the righteous gentleman? What are you doing out here? Do you like playing in the wild? You should've said so earlier!"

A mocking voice rang out.

Qin Ming turned to see the source of the voice—a seductive woman in a green dress from the pleasure house.

She now revealed her cultivation at the fourth level of Qi Refining. Beside her stood a burly man with a thick beard, at the fifth level of Qi Refining, glaring fiercely at Qin Ming.

It was clear.

These five were in cahoots—a group of bandit cultivators!

"This kid is really cowardly. I tried to lure him out several times, but he wouldn't budge. If it weren't for risking the exposure of the two patrol members, we wouldn't have been able to trap him," Fellow Daoist Ruan said, no longer hiding his malicious intent. He licked his lips, eyeing Qin Ming with amusement.

"Let's finish him quickly and take his stuff. We don't want any complications," the burly man growled.

"With this kid? A mere third-level Qi Refining spirit farmer? He's nothing," the fifth-level Qi Refining patrol member scoffed, clearly looking down on Qin Ming.

The five of them surrounded Qin Ming.

Suddenly!

Qin Ming made the first move!

He bent his knees, gathering strength, and leaped into the air!

He reached into his storage bag, intending to pull out his Green Spirit Sword. But in his haste, he grabbed a spirit shovel used for tilling the ground instead.

Qin Ming didn't hesitate.

He channeled his blood and qi energy into the shovel.

The muscles in his forearm bulged like steel cables!

Without a second thought, he unleashed his blood and qi energy, swinging the shovel with full force at the nearest Spirit Feather Sect patrol member.

The patrol member was startled by Qin Ming's speed. He barely had time to react before Qin Ming's figure blurred and disappeared.

No longer daring to underestimate him, the patrol member quickly formed a hand seal, summoning a blue protective shield around himself.

*Thud!*

With a single strike!

The protective shield shattered like paper under Qin Ming's shovel.

The patrol member's face twisted in shock. He hastily pulled out a golden protective talisman, summoning another layer of golden shield around himself.

*Thud!*

Another strike.

Qin Ming's shovel showed no signs of slowing down.

The golden talisman's shield lasted less than a breath before breaking.

*Squelch!*

With one more strike, Qin Ming closed the distance, trapping the fifth-level Qi Refining patrol member. The man tried to dodge, but Qin Ming's shovel pierced through his neck.

*Gurgle!*

The patrol member fell to the ground, clutching his neck, convulsing before going still.

This all happened in an instant!

In just one exchange, the arrogant Spirit Feather Sect cultivator was killed by Qin Ming.

The others were momentarily stunned.

"Damn it! He's a body cultivator! Fall back!" the sixth-level Qi Refining patrol member shouted, retreating while casting an intermediate-level wind blade spell at Qin Ming.

Qin Ming, however, showed no fear. His blood and qi energy surged, forming a "Glazed Treasure Armor" around him.

He leaped again.

The wind blade spell struck Qin Ming's chest.

*Boom!*

A loud sound echoed, but the attack dissipated like a stone sinking into the ocean, leaving no trace.

"Spell immunity! How is that possible?!" the sixth-level patrol member exclaimed, his eyes wide with disbelief.

Fellow Daoist Ruan and the green-dressed woman, realizing the danger, unleashed their full power, attacking Qin Ming from behind.

Qin Ming ignored them, his gaze locked on the sixth-level patrol member.

He swung his shovel at him.

*Clang!*

The patrol member blocked with a black round shield, a defensive artifact.

Sparks flew as the shovel struck the shield, sending the man flying over a dozen feet.

*Crash!*

He slammed into a small dirt mound, coughing up blood, his face filled with terror.

What terrifying strength!

It felt like he had been hit by a massive demon beast.

Qin Ming moved swiftly, dodging the attacks from behind. A few spells managed to hit him, but they caused no real damage.

In a flash, Qin Ming closed the distance to the sixth-level patrol member, grabbing his arm and forcing him to the ground.

The patrol member struggled, but his strength was no match for Qin Ming's.

Qin Ming pinned him down, raising his shovel and repeatedly smashing it into the man's head.

*Thud! Thud! Thud!*

The patrol member's skull was crushed, and he died on the spot.

Behind him, Fellow Daoist Ruan and the other two were paralyzed with fear.

Even a sixth-level Qi Refining cultivator was no match for Qin Ming!

What kind of spirit farmer was this?!

"Glazed Treasure Armor! Fifth level! Impossible! How could you have reached the fifth level so quickly?!" Fellow Daoist Ruan panicked, finally realizing the truth. He hastily summoned a flying boat artifact, attempting to escape.

But Qin Ming wouldn't let him.

He hurled his shovel through the air.

*Swish!*

The shovel struck Fellow Daoist Ruan, severing one of his legs.

"Ahhh!!!"

Fellow Daoist Ruan screamed, falling to the ground.

"Please, no! Don't kill me!" he begged, struggling on the ground.

Qin Ming leaped forward, picked up the shovel, and without hesitation, swung it down.

*Thud!*

Fellow Daoist Ruan's head was severed, blood spraying into the air.

The green-dressed woman and the burly man turned pale, fleeing in opposite directions.

But Qin Ming was faster.

In a few leaps, he caught up to the burly man, grabbing him by the back of his neck and yanking him to the ground.

"Please, don't kill me! It was Fellow Daoist Ruan who told us about your Beast Tooth Rice!" the man pleaded.

Qin Ming's eyes flashed with ruthlessness.

He swung the shovel.

*Squelch!*

The man's neck was half-severed.

Qin Ming then turned and threw the shovel at the green-dressed woman.

*Thud!*

The shovel pierced through her back, pinning her to the ground.

On the desolate road, Qin Ming stood drenched in blood, his aura filled with killing intent.

He collected the storage bags of all five cultivators and cast a fireball spell to destroy the bodies, erasing all traces.

After ensuring nothing was left behind, he disappeared into the wilderness.
