Chapter 8: The Magic Academy

After nineteen long hours of traveling through the vast expanse of the cosmos, Logan finally glimpsed the planet ahead. Its name was Geonosis, a world where the principles of Mana thrived, allowing nearly every inhabitant to wield the power of Magic. The allure of this planet had drawn Logan in, for it was here that he would further his mastery over the Mana Heart and Mana Circle.

Upon his arrival, Logan made his way toward the mountainous terrain known as the Starfall Peaks. These towering heights were named for the countless high-ranking magicians who had fallen there during a devastating war three hundred years ago. The war had been ignited by the greed of the planet's kings, each eager to expand their domains. The repercussions of that conflict were still felt today, as the dense mana in the area had not only caused the land to become a nexus of magical power but had also transformed the wildlife into fierce, territorial beasts. This dangerous place, therefore, was avoided by most.

But for Logan, the dense mana was an opportunity he could not pass up. He ventured into the heart of Starfall Peaks, seeking a quiet, undisturbed spot. He sat in stillness, letting the world around him fade into the background as he focused. Gradually, the mana in the air became more tangible, almost like fireflies dancing in the atmosphere. Logan's concentration deepened, and he began to draw the mana towards him, flowing it from his skin into his heart.

As the mana filled him, it sparked a transformation. His heart began to evolve, expanding, pulsing with new power. The process was slow, but inevitable. After what felt like an eternity, Logan's Mana Heart was complete—an achievement that would serve as the foundation for his magical abilities. But he did not stop there. His experience from the past six regressions made the process smoother than it would have been for any other individual. Still, there was a cost.

Unlike his past regressions, where he had been able to form multiple Mana Circles, Logan's body could only manage one this time. The toll from his earlier use of the barrier on Zhou's planet had drained his life force, slowing the formation of the Mana Circles. Yet even with this setback, Logan remained undeterred.

He reflected silently, thinking, "It's a pity, but it doesn't matter. I didn't want to form the other circles here anyway. I'll do that in the Middle Realm. For now, I need the World's Principle."

With his resolve firm, Logan took to the skies once more, heading toward the next stage of his journey—the Magic Academy.

Upon arriving at the gates of the Academy, Logan's presence did not go unnoticed. Michael Clayton, the Dean of the Academy, sensed his arrival instantly from within his office. Without hesitation, he teleported to the field, his sudden appearance startling the students who had gathered there.

The air was thick with awe as Michael's gaze locked onto Logan. "Who are you, and why are you here?" he demanded, his voice carrying an authority honed over years of experience.

Logan met his gaze without flinching. "I'm Logan. I'm here for the World's Principle."

The Dean's eyes narrowed, and with a swift motion, he reached out, gripping Logan's shoulder. The world around them seemed to blur as they both vanished, teleported to the Dean's office in the blink of an eye
