His words rang so loud like a church bell in my ears, and instantly, I felt a sharp pain in my chest, as if my heart was being split into two. 


“Don’t… do this… to me,” I muttered in tears, grabbing my chest in agony. 


“Say it back!” He yelled. His eyes were bloodshot from anger, and this time, he started approaching me. 


“No. Kilhan, listen to me. You’ve got it all wrong. Please, I don’t want to reject you.” I wept bitterly, moving backward in fear. 


He wasn’t the sweet and loving Alpha Kilhan I used to know. The expression he had on was one I had never seen before in my entire time with him. 


It was like the same furious expression he had when he attacked Xavier, but this time, it was worse. 


“You promised you’d never lose control when I’m around you! You promised me you’d keep your wolf in check and never hurt me! Kilhan!” I yelled as he didn’t relent in storming towards me.
