Getting to my compound, I deeply breathed in its air, recalling every memory I had had in this compound. 


I couldn’t help but imagine what would have happened if Alpha Darius succeeded in killing me. 


‘I'd never have seen this house again. And who would have taken over as Alpha??’ I wondered. 


“Drex, of course,” I answered loudly, heaving another sigh before I began to approach the house.


As I moved closer and my guards saw it was me, they lifted your voices, called out my name, and began to howl. I was happy to see them too. 


My pack members ran out of the house at the sound of the guards’ voices and when they saw me. They all went on one knee, lowering their heads. 


A wide smile curved up my lips as my eyes moved from one person to another, from guards to pack members. 


‘Only one person made it possible. And that was Celine. I owe her.’ I thought, moving even closer to the door.
