~Charles~
On my way back home from Alpha Kilhan’s house, I couldn’t stop thinking about what I was going to do with the men I had locked up.
‘How dare they hurt my sister?’
I needed justice to be served and the only way I could think of was killing them brutally.
Getting home, my driver opened the door and all the guards bowed to me as I headed into the house.
“Alpha Charles.” One of them called, and I turned to look at him. “Your mother would like to see you. She’s waiting in your chambers.” He uttered, and I bobbed, walking away.
Getting into my chamber, I met my mother seated on one of the chairs. Her head was bowed like she had something bothering her.
“Mom,” I called, causing her to raise her head. “What’s wrong? How did you not hear when I walked in?” I asked, and she heaved a sigh.
“Sorry, Charles. I was lost in thoughts.” She answered.
“Why are you lost in thoughts?” I further inquired as I sat on the chair in front of her.
