I know more than you think

Rayan, Xavier and Peter went into Ceara's room while Nio I stayed outside with Nathaniel.

In the room

"Dad!" Peter said in a demanding tone

"What is it !?! Can't you see I'm dealing with your sister ,she's going through a phase ." The father said

"There's a crisis just outside the door "

" What is it , speak will you"the mother said in suspense

" Well Ceara's fiance is here"

" What! In the lobby ? "the father asked

"No outside the door. He wants to see little sis now . Apparently he has some business with her"

" Fine, let him in, Ceara organise yourself, the prince is coming to see you "the father said as he departed pulling his wife behind him.

Ceara poked her head out of the blanket to see her father off as droplets of tears had now collected in her eyes and as her parents got out , Ceara felt a strong cramp in her abdomen causing her to recoil into the blanket and qwiver in pain

At that moment Nathaniel entered the room and saw the scheen before him

"What's wrong with you " Nathaniel said without care in his tone. Ceara poked out her head and looked at Nathaniel as he sat on her bed , crossing his leg and lighting his cigarette.

"Can you not smoke in my room" Ceara said.

" Finally she speaks "

"What do you want "

" I came to talk to you , news from the palace"

Ceara got out of the bed still in her light net night gowns and sat up right , a stain of blood was on the cream sheets. Though Nathaniel noticed this , he kept his silence and extended close to her

" Ok, I'm gonna try and explain this in the easiest way possible for me . On our wedding day, my coming of age ceremony is to be held on that day as well were I will have to battle with my father , so you do understand how busy the wedding day is?"

"Yeah (looks down)"

" What is it? Is it the cigarette? ( Holds her chin and tilts it up) Are you in pain (glances at her lower abdomen) Is it because of your menstrual cycle?"

Ceara blushingly nodded her head in agreement and Nathaniel sat back

"If the cramps or pain you are feeling is unbearable ,I can ask my assistant to prepare a remidy"

"N..no need I can bare it, continue "

"So it is also expected of you to be pregnant 2 months after the wedding ceremony "

"I can't "

"And why is that,are you infertile in your family,you are in menstruation so I don't believe you"

"I just can't"
