The blazing sun illuminated the vast, boundless ocean. As far as the eye could see, there was only an expanse of blue water, with small waves rolling gently in every direction.
Suddenly, without any clear reason, a circle of white light appeared above the water's surface. The white circle didn't last long. Once it disappeared, it revealed a simple bamboo raft floating on the waves.
It didn't stop there. Another white circle of light appeared, this time directly above the bamboo raft. When the light vanished, a young man stood there, completely naked, his face filled with confusion. He looked around, trying to figure out where he was.
His gaze froze when another white circle of light appeared, not far from the raft he was standing on.
"A bamboo raft? Where am I?" the young man muttered, his eyes fixed on the raft that had appeared out of nowhere.
"What's that?"
Another circle of white light appeared above the raft, revealing a girl with a bewildered expression. She glanced around but stopped when her eyes landed on the young man—standing naked, staring at her with wide eyes.
"Vio?" the girl muttered, as if nothing was strange. Her mind was still struggling to process all the information she had just seen.
"Ahhhh!"
A piercing scream echoed across the calm ocean, loud enough to create small ripples on the water's surface.
After screaming, Viola immediately crouched down and curled up on the raft, hugging her knees tightly to cover herself from Vio's gaze.
The thought of Vio staring at her with a lecherous look flashed through her mind, causing her face to burn bright red. She was angry because she couldn't blame Vio, embarrassed because her body had been exposed to him for two whole seconds, and frustrated because she had no idea what to do.
"What's wrong with you?" Vio asked innocently, as if nothing had happened.
It would be a lie to say he didn't know what was going on, but to maintain his pride as a man, he tried to appear calm and unaffected.
"WHAT'S WRONG? YOU ASK ME THAT?!" Viola replied in a trembling voice, gritting her teeth. She glared at Vio with a look so sharp it seemed like she was ready to shoot arrows at him.
"Eh, that big?" Viola mumbled softly, her eyes focused on a large gun hanging below Vio's waist. The curly black holster around the gun made it look even more impressive, like a painting that no one who saw it could easily forget.
"Vio, YOU IDIOT!" Viola screamed again, this time louder and ear-piercing, as if matching the size of the gun hanging there.
Viola quickly diverted her gaze from Vio and closed her eyes as tightly as she could. If possible, she wished the strength of her eyelids could erase the image of Vio's gun from her otherwise pure mind.
Vio, on the other hand, ignored Viola's screams. There was no one else here but him and Viola, so there was nothing to cover up. In truth, he wanted Viola to see just how cool and impressive his body was.
In that moment, Vio's heart was still filled with the image of Viola's body he had caught a glimpse of earlier. Just thinking about it made his body feel warm, his heart pounding in his chest. Though it wasn't perfectly round, her figure was slightly oval and plump, with generous triangular curves. Only one word crossed his mind at that moment: delicious.
"Vio, calm yourself... You're already lucky enough to have seen her beautiful body," Vio whispered to himself, trying to steady his thoughts.
As a healthy young man, Vio naturally wanted to engage in that beautiful thing with Viola. However, his deep admiration for her made him content with just seeing her from afar and imagining it.
It was sad, but that was Vio's motto in life.
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
— Vio —
Every day in class, he would gaze at Viola, hoping for a similar glance in return. This sincere admiration filled him with the hope that Viola might feel the same way about him.
Yet, it seemed the universe approved of his decision, even if Viola didn't. At least, for now, Vio believed he was on the right path. He knew that, despite the momentary temptations, he didn't want to act merely for fleeting pleasure.
"Something that feels good at the start won't last long."
— Vio —
The endless expanse of the ocean stretched before him, a brilliant blue merging with turquoise green, blending with the sky adorned by scattered white clouds. Gentle waves rolled softly, reflecting the sunlight's sparkle on their surface.
In the distance, sea trees stood gracefully, their branches swaying in rhythm with the waves, adorned with bright fruits that added to the beauty of the scenery.
Whoosh…
A gentle sea breeze swept by, carrying the salty scent of the ocean. Its sound was like nature's whisper, caressing Vio's face and ruffling his hair, bringing a moment of peace.
"Ah, so refreshing…" he murmured softly, almost lost in the harmony of nature. He closed his eyes, enjoying the blend of the cool breeze and the warm sunlight.
Meanwhile, Viola slowly opened her eyes, gazing at the boundless horizon. Her golden hair danced gracefully in the wind, while a faint smile adorned her face.
"Hahhh…" Viola let out a long sigh, inhaling the intoxicating scent of the sea. Her eyes locked onto seabirds gliding freely, their cries harmonizing with the sound of waves crashing against rocks.
"What's that?"
At this moment, Vio was walking toward the front of the raft. There, a glass sphere the size of a basketball rested, accompanied by a two-meter-long wooden paddle.
Approaching the glass sphere, Vio noticed a blue panel, similar to the one that had appeared back in the classroom.
[ Core Base Panel ]
Level : Bamboo Raft - Basic
Speed : 5 Km/h
Safe Zone Range: 50 meters
Area : 20 square meters
Defense Shield : 1.000
"Core Base?" Vio muttered under his breath. His eyes landed on the line that read "Level."
"Can this base be upgraded to something higher?" he thought to himself.
The base he currently had was just a basic bamboo raft. Maybe, in the future, this raft could be upgraded into something stronger, with a higher level.
"Everything's so simple," he murmured casually. His gaze then fell on the paddle lying beside the Core Base.
As soon as he focused on the paddle, the same blue panel appeared again, showing different content this time.
(Wooden Paddle) A paddle made of wood. Its tip is slightly wider to improve rowing efficiency.
Durability : 100
"Durability?" Vio said with a grim expression.
Back when he used to play games, he absolutely hated the durability mechanic. This feature forced players to be extra cautious when using their items. Vio distinctly remembered running out of sword durability because he had used it too often to chop trees while looting wood.
Still holding the paddle, Vio stood up and looked toward Viola, who was not far away.
"Viola, how about you?" he asked casually.
Vio saw Viola still sitting in the same position as before, but now she had moved to the front of the raft with her back facing him. She sat next to the Core Base, busy examining a panel in front of her.
There was no answer. Vio could only sigh deeply. Perhaps Viola was still embarrassed about the earlier incident.
"My God, so smooth… her beautiful blonde hair…" Vio muttered in his heart, his face lighting up as he admired Viola's back, illuminated by the direct sunlight.
After indulging himself with the view for a moment, Vio decided to walk to the edge of the raft to check if there were any fish in the water below. He might be fine for now, but when night fell, he could very well starve if he didn't find food by midday.
Vio had barely taken two steps when suddenly he froze. The blue panel reappeared in front of him.

Along with the notifications, a chest and a blue egg suddenly materialized on Vio's raft. His curiosity got the better of him, and he quickly moved closer to examine the egg.
(Starter Egg) A special gift for early arrivals. Chance to obtain a beast:
Legendary: 0.0001%
Epic: 0.005%
Rare: 0.1%
Elite: 1%
[ Open ]
"Starter Egg?" Vio muttered, surprised at the notification. However, his astonishment quickly turned into a frown when he read the chances of obtaining a legendary beast—only 0.0001%.
"Such a slim chance," he thought with a heavy sigh. "I hope I get lucky this time," he whispered as he pressed the "Open" button.
The previously lifeless blue egg began to tremble. A white light radiated from it, illuminating the raft. Slowly, the light shifted to a swirling green hue.
"Rare level?" Vio thought, recalling the color patterns from the gacha games he used to play. The rarer the item, the more vibrant the color.
After the green light, the egg emitted a sparkling blue glow. The light kept spinning, as if a chemical reaction was happening inside. But what made Vio nearly leap was when the blue glow turned purple.
"Purple?" he exclaimed, barely able to believe it. He knew that purple often signified something epic. His eyes remained glued to the egg, which continued to emit increasingly dazzling colors.
Zing…
"Gold?!" Vio's shout echoed. He instinctively closed his eyes, shielding his face from the blinding golden glow. It was so intense that it seemed to dominate the area within a ten-meter radius.
[ Congratulations! You have obtained, Orca - King of the Seas (Legendary) ]
As the light gradually dimmed, the surroundings returned to calm. When Vio opened his eyes, a massive figure stood before him—an elegant black-and-white orca, two meters in length.
"An orca?" he whispered in awe.
The orca appeared to hover above the raft. Its large body moved gracefully in mid-air, seemingly unaffected by gravity. Its gaze locked onto Vio, as if acknowledging him as its master. The orca gave a slight nod and turned its body with remarkable elegance.
Vio tried to calm his racing heart. Carefully, he extended his hand, attempting to touch the extraordinary creature. As if understanding his intention, the orca moved closer, allowing Vio to feel its smooth surface.
"Not slippery," Vio murmured. He had always thought orcas would feel slippery, but they didn't. The sensation was oddly comforting. A wide smile spread across his face.
"What an incredible start," he thought, filled with excitement. Acquiring a legendary beast at the beginning of his adventure was an extraordinary achievement. It meant he had already surpassed hundreds of other players.
Without wasting any time, Vio opened the status panel of his orca.
