Madison/Daisy’s POV:
I woke up when I felt the sun rays disturbing my sleep. I groaned and opened my eyes only to come in the sight of my husband looking at me without even blinking. I was so close to him. Probably just a few inches gap between both our noses and lips.
“Good morning, doll,” he whispered, snuggling between in the crook of my neck and hugging me tightly again.
“I have seen men closing the curtains of the window so that their wife’s sleep won’t get spoiled. But then here you are, watching your wife’s sleep getting disturbed and waiting for her to wake up,” I asked him, chuckling when I felt him rubbing his nose against my neck.
“What can I do, doll? Your face was glowing under the sunlight. You looked like a god-sent angel from heaven to earth… just for me. And I wanted to see those beautiful brown carpel of your eyes.” I got confused at first hearing him, but then I understood that he was referring to my honey brown eye color as the brown carpel.
