Leon's Mother

A Hall of Legends

Leon's heart pounded in his chest as he stood in front of the grand dining hall doors. Every instinct screamed at him to turn back, but he knew he couldn't. This was part of his new reality. Taking a deep breath, he pushed the heavy doors open.

The first thing he noticed was the man at the head of the table. Leon's breath hitched. The figure radiated power and authority, yet his youthful appearance was shocking. With sharp, chiseled features and a calm, calculating gaze, the man looked like he was in his twenties. Leon recognized him immediately—this was the strongest human in the world, his father.

On either side of the lord sat three women who commanded the room with their presence. The woman on the left had pointed ears, long flowing hair that shimmered like moonlight, and eyes that glowed faintly—an elf, radiating elegance and mystery. The two women on the right were human, but they exuded an otherworldly grace and power that set them apart from ordinary mortals. Their posture and composed expressions spoke of unshakable confidence.

Leon hesitated at the threshold, overwhelmed by their collective presence. Before he could linger too long, Aria gently guided him to a seat she had prepared. His legs moved on their own as he followed her direction, his mind still reeling from the scene.

As he settled into his chair, more people began filing into the hall.

First came two twin sisters, their synchronized movements catching Leon's attention. Both had long silver hair and sharp features that mirrored their mother, the elf. They sat gracefully beside her. Leon's heart skipped a beat. Selene and Cristine. He recognized them instantly. They were key characters in the game—heroines and love interests of the protagonist. And now, they were revealed to be his siblings.

Next came a boy who looked to be about sixteen, with a sharp gaze and an air of quiet confidence. He took a seat near the lord. Leon's eyes widened. Urd. Another pivotal character in the game, one of the protagonist's most trusted allies.

Finally, two younger children, a boy and a girl around ten to twelve years old, entered and sat down, their innocent faces contrasting with the tense atmosphere.

But what truly left Leon speechless was the last arrival—a small girl with delicate features and an aura of pure innocence. Her golden eyes sparkled with curiosity, and her tiny horns and scaled tail marked her as something extraordinary. She sat down right next to Leon, glancing up at him with a cheerful smile.

Leon stared at her, his mind racing. A half-dragon?

He glanced at her, then back to his status screen in his memory. Half-Dragon… does that mean… His breath caught in his throat. My mother is a dragon?

The realization hit him like a thunderbolt. His assumptions about this world, his lineage, and his role in it had just been shattered.

Leon shifted uncomfortably in his chair, his thoughts a chaotic swirl. I have to tread carefully. This family isn't just powerful—they're legendary.

As the room settled into a quiet hum of conversation, Leon sat in stunned silence, trying to piece together what this revelation meant for him and the tangled web of fates he had been thrust into.
