Leon vs kefka

Leon stood at the edge of the training ground, his sword slicing through the air in fluid motions. Sweat dripped down his forehead as he continued his routine, pushing himself harder than he ever had in his past life. Training had never been his thing before, but now, he had a reason to get stronger.

As he paused to catch his breath, a familiar voice called out to him. "You always train alone like this?"

Leon turned to see Kefka approaching, a towel in her hand. She tossed it to him, and he caught it with ease, wiping the sweat from his face.

"Training... I never really did it in the past," he admitted with a smirk. "But now, I think I have to become stronger—for you." His tone was teasing, his eyes playful.

Kefka raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "Oh my, how reliable," she said sarcastically, feigning admiration.

Leon rolled his eyes. "Cut it out. Why are you here?"

"Why not?" she shot back. "I just wanted to see you, my husband."

Leon felt a small flutter in his chest at her words but quickly masked it. "Oh, okay then. Just don't disturb me."

Kefka smirked. "Fight me."

Leon blinked. "What?"

"You're not improving by just swinging that sword around by yourself. You need a real opponent."

He chuckled. "I'll fight, but don't end up crying when you lose."

Kefka gasped dramatically. "Oh no, I'm so scared." Her voice dripped with sarcasm before her smirk returned. "Don't forget, I'm the infamous Incardia Witch."

Leon sighed, shaking his head. "Fine. Let's do this."

They both took their stances, and within seconds, Kefka vanished.

"What the—?" Before Leon could react, a sharp pressure pressed against his back.

He spun around, but Kefka was already gone. Shadows flickered around him as she moved like a phantom, her steps soundless.

Shadow Merge. Soundless Slash. Walk of the Void.

Leon barely saw a blur before he felt the cold steel of her blade against his neck.

And just like that, the fight was over.

He sighed in defeat, lowering his sword. "Okay... That was embarrassing."

Kefka twirled her blade before sheathing it, a triumphant grin on her face. "You're not bad. But you've got a long way to go."

Leon chuckled. "Yeah, no kidding. You're incredible."

She smirked. "I know."

Despite his loss, Leon couldn't help but admire her. He had a long way to go, but with Kefka by his side, he knew he'd get there.
