WITHIN

Dust gets into Anna's mouth and she coughs into her elbow, "where are we?"

Elsa doesn't answer, she's just as confused anyway.

Anna, Elsa and Olaf are all in bad shape as they look around that seems to be a deserted land.

There are no trees in sight, no people, no animals and no structures; nothing alive or dead is anywhere near them.

Elsa sighs, bending her head as she stands up, and turns to her sister, "Anna what—? Olaf!!"

She's shocked.

He's almost completely gone; just his two eyes are left.

Stretching her right hand out, she mutters, "please work."

Surprisingly, her magic works and swirls around Olaf—- very slowly, unlike its usual speed—-- and grows him out.

The first thing he does is to hug Anna and she returns it, wrapping her hands around him.

In the process, her hands fall to the side and Elsa gasps, covering her mouth and bleeding nose as she looks at the large stretch of thin skin that had been chopped off the back of Anna's neck full length.

It was thin okay, but it was bleeding badly, slipping and sliding down to her back and neck.

With all the tension and fight for their lifes, Anna hadn't noticed.

At the same time, Olaf feels something slippery and raises his hand up from her neck where he had looped it.

"Anna," he calls, looking down at the red liquid, staining his twig fingers then to her face while he pulls away from the hug.

"Why is there blood on your neck?" Both he and Elsa ask.

Anna is startled by this and stammers, rubbing her arms, "I… I… I guess the executioner managed to nick me."

"Let me," Elsa says moving to maybe heal Anna but coughs out blood, causing even more to flow from her nostrils and falls to her knees.

"Stop," Anna's voice reaches her just as her arms do.

"Don't do anything, just rest."

"You're the lady from my dream."

They all turn, noticing Jack for the first time since they arrived at the strange place.

He goes closer, towards them but then—-

"Back off."

Elsa's arms are out towards him but Anna and Olaf hold her arms.

"It's alright," Olaf reassures her.

"He saved us," this calms her so she brings her hand down.

Turning to Jack, Anna dips her head at him, "thank you."

Jack feels a bit flustered but worry and the need to drive home has him opening his mouth to ask a ton of questions but he stops, gazing at the woman on the floor

Anna and Olaf throw raised eyebrows between themselves, standing and awkwardly witnessing the two that have been holding each others eyes for several heart beats.

Finally Anna clears her throat.

Elsa breaks the eye contact first then asks, "What is your name?"

Jack doesn't get to answer her because 'she' haunches over and begins to convulse.

"Elsa?!"

"Elsa!"

Laying her flat on the floor doesn't help at all, Elsa only shakes more violently and her pupils roll into the back of her eyes

Desperate to save her, yet not knowing what to do, Anna places both of her palms on her sister's chest and yelps, yanking her hands away as fast as she could.

She look down at her hands to see that they are red, and shivers.

"No."

Going to move her hand over the top layer, she sees Elsa's chest glow red.

Fire was burning her organs from within.
