Chapter 192: I’ll give you five minutes...

Miao Zhenshan was momentarily stunned but eventually nodded. "No problem."

Looking back now, it seemed that ever since his first soul beast hunt, Xiao Tianyang had always relied on himself and never depended on others.

Even if Miao Zhenshan had played the role of a "tractor" in those hunts, he believed that Xiao Tianyang could have achieved his goals with his skills alone.

Miao Zhenshan simply regarded this as Xiao Tianyang's habit and didn't think much of it.

When Xiao Tianyang saw Miao Zhenshan agree, he smiled and said, "Then I'll share my thoughts, though I might embarrass myself."

"The first possibility is that this treasure land was recently discovered by you, teacher, and it's so well-hidden that you're not worried about others finding it." He paused, glanced at Miao Zhenshan's expression, and then shook his head. "But that doesn't seem right. That leads to the second possibility."

As he spoke, the corner of his mouth curled slightly. "Teacher, did you discover a gathering place for soul beasts?"

As soon as he finished, Miao Zhenshan's face showed surprise. "How did you guess that?"

"Because only a place occupied by soul beasts would make ordinary soul masters hesitate to enter and explore. Of course, this doesn't include you, teacher," Xiao Tianyang explained with a smile.

"Moreover, most of the soul beasts in the extreme north are of the cold, water, ice, and wind attributes. For soul masters from the south, or even the east and west, the soul rings here aren't particularly appealing."

There was one thing he didn't mention: because of this, the north had more 100,000-year-old soul beasts compared to other regions. However, one place had to be excluded—the Star Dou Forest. The reason was simple: a sleeping king resided in its deepest depths...

"That's correct," Miao Zhenshan said, his eyes filled with appreciation and satisfaction. He nodded slightly and asked, "Then can you guess what kind of treasure place I'm planning to take you to?"

Xiao Tianyang couldn't help but roll his eyes. "I was just doing data analysis, not fortune-telling. I don't have any clues, so how could I possibly guess?"

This was true. What he had just done was logical reasoning, not divination. If he could guess now, it would indeed be fortune-telling.

Both girls laughed like silver bells.

Saber was a bit more reserved, but Fei Xue was openly amused.

As for Zhou Cheng and Miao Zhenshan, they wore stiff smiles.

Zhou Cheng, who was usually stern, looked a bit awkward, while Miao Zhenshan felt slightly embarrassed.

After all, it was a little humiliating to be so thoroughly outsmarted by his own disciple. Of course, the main reason was that he couldn't refute Xiao Tianyang's reasoning.

Because they had talked late into the night, everyone slept in and didn't get out of bed until the afternoon.

The reason for this was simple: part of it was to deepen Xiao Tianyang and Saber's understanding of the team, and the other part was to discuss the next phase of their training plan.

However, when Xiao Tianyang opened his door, he was startled by a large hand reaching toward him. Reacting instinctively, he struck back with a palm, his soul power surging like a roaring dragon!

"Good kid, it seems I underestimated you last night!" Miao Zhenshan was pushed back, but instead of being angry, he looked at the white mark on his hand with delight.

Xiao Tianyang sighed in relief and couldn't help but complain, "Teacher, what are you doing? It's so early in the morning." Suddenly, he crossed his arms and covered his chest vigilantly. "Are you peeping?"

Miao Zhenshan's face darkened. "Nonsense. I have something to discuss with you downstairs."

Xiao Tianyang smirked. "What a serious old man. Can't even take a joke." With that, he walked out of the room, closed the door, and headed downstairs.

By the time he arrived, everyone was already gathered downstairs, making him the last to join.

Before he could even settle comfortably on the sofa, Miao Zhenshan asked, "Did you give Zhou Cheng a book yesterday?"

"Yes, I did," Xiao Tianyang replied, though he was a bit confused. He leaned back on the sofa, crossed his legs, and asked, "Is there something wrong with that technique?"

"There's no problem with the technique. I just wanted to ask if there's a next part," Miao Zhenshan said, ignoring Xiao Tianyang's casual posture.

He wasn't concerned about such things; what he truly hoped for was that they could support and care for each other like family, not as individuals with differences.

Xiao Tianyang had no choice but to answer, "That might depend on luck."

Naturally, Xiao Tianyang couldn't reveal his "golden finger" (cheat ability). But he also didn't want to completely shut down Miao Zhenshan's hopes, so he answered vaguely.

"I should have known," Miao Zhenshan said, unable to hide his disappointment.

There was a hint of reluctance in his eyes as he continued, "Zhou Cheng showed me the book last night. It nearly pushes the use of soul power to develop physical fitness to its limits."

"I even believe that if this book truly has nine levels, as you said, its significance would surpass the efforts of many predecessors in our Body Sect!"

"What a pity," he sighed.

"Actually, teacher, you don't need to be so pessimistic. When I said it depends on luck, it doesn't mean there's no chance at all," Xiao Tianyang said with a shrug. "Besides, I've always considered myself lucky."

"Hopefully," Miao Zhenshan replied, though he didn't put much stock in luck.

He quickly changed the subject, his expression turning serious again. "This topic ends here. I'll give you five minutes to pack your bags. After that, we'll set off for the Tidal Canyon."

"Don't we have time for lunch?" Xiao Tianyang asked, a bit disappointed.

Miao Zhenshan thought about the delicious food from the night before and nodded. "Okay, but I'll only give you half an hour. Can you manage?"

"It's just a bowl of noodles. It won't take that long," Xiao Tianyang said, turning to Saber. "You go upstairs and get ready. You can eat when you come down."

"Do you need my help?" Saber asked.

"No need," Xiao Tianyang replied as he headed to the kitchen.

Saber, Fei Xue, and Zhou Cheng went upstairs and returned within three minutes. Saber, of course, carried nothing extra, while the other two seemed to have storage-type soul guides.

By the time they came downstairs, Xiao Tianyang had already brought out a bowl of noodles and placed it in front of Miao Zhenshan.

The soup was made from leftover chicken broth from the previous night, with white noodles sinking to the bottom.

The side dishes included a hot spring egg, a portion of homemade kimchi, a piece of steak, and a sprinkle of green onions. It looked simple, but the aroma was irresistible.

Of course, taste was secondary. The most important thing was to have enough food to keep them full. After all, time was tight, and the tasks ahead were demanding.

Physical strength had to come first.
