Mark fought and retreated, swinging his sword to cut down two swooping monsters, blood splashing and staining the sword red. He clenched his teeth, sweat oozed from his forehead, and his breathing became rapid. Bingying nimbly shuttled between the monsters, with a little blood on his snow-white fur. It roared, and its sharp claws tore the wings of the monsters to buy time for Mark. The corpses of the monsters fell like raindrops, and the ground was full of blood. The air was filled with a strong smell of blood. The broken limbs and wings were scattered all over the ground, which was shocking.
Selina on the wall saw Mark gradually losing his strength and his face became paler. She bit her lower lip tightly, the veins on her hands bulged, and the scepter made a buzzing vibration between her trembling hands. She knew that she had to do something. Selina took a deep breath and forced herself to calm down. She closed her eyes and silently chanted an ancient spell. The light of the gem on the top of the scepter suddenly intensified, and a dazzling white light shot out from the top of the scepter, covering Mark. The white light was like warm sunshine, dispelling Mark's fatigue. His injuries recovered at a speed visible to the naked eye, and his strength was also replenished. Exhausted Mark felt a warm current flowing through his body, as if he had been reborn.
"Puff!"
After releasing the energy, Selina spat out a mouthful of blood. Without the support of the holy stone energy, she could only use her own vitality to replenish the power of the scepter.
Mark, who had been replenished with energy, raised his sword and let out a deafening roar. The sound waves vibrated, causing several small monsters nearby to collapse directly to the ground. The light on his body was very bright, like a burning flame, emitting a scorching breath. A huge flame shot up into the sky, like lightning that cut through the night sky, with a devastating force, turning all the flying monsters around into ashes and disappearing into the air.
Elvira was suspended in mid-air, watching all this with cold eyes. Her smile of confidence gradually disappeared, and her face became gloomy, like the dark clouds before the storm. She stopped commanding the monster to attack, but slowly fell from the air, her black wings folded behind her, like the cloak of the god of death. She landed on the ground, tapping the ground with her toes without making any sound. She walked towards Mark step by step, and each step brought a strong sense of oppression, as if the god of death was approaching.
"It seems that I have to take you seriously." Elvira's voice was icy and piercing, like the cold wind from the Nine Nether Hell, which made people shudder. Her scarlet eyes stared at Mark, her eyes full of murderous intent.
Mark clenched the long sword in his hand, the sword pointed directly at Elvira, his eyes firm. "Elvira, I won't let you succeed!" He said firmly, without any retreat.
Bingying let out a low roar and blocked in front of Mark. It bared its teeth at Elvira and let out a threatening growl, trying to intimidate Elvira with its momentum.
"A beast dares to be so rude to me?" Elvira's eyes flashed with a cold light, and she slowly raised her right hand. Black energy surged at her fingertips, forming a black energy ball, exuding a palpitating breath.
"Bingying, be careful!" Mark reminded.
Elvira sneered and threw the black energy ball in her hand at Bingying.
"Roar!" Bingying roared and rushed towards the energy ball.
The black energy ball collided head-on with Bingying, and a deafening roar broke out. The shock wave spread, and the gravel and dead branches on the ground were blown everywhere. The smoke and dust filled the air, blocking everyone's sight. Mark squinted his eyes and tried hard to see the situation in the smoke. The scepter in Selina's hand flashed, and she chanted a spell in a low voice to provide Mark with continuous energy replenishment.
The smoke and dust gradually dissipated, and the figure of Bingying appeared in front of Mark. It half-knelt on the ground, covered with a layer of black energy, and made a low sound of pain. Its originally snow-white fur was eroded by the black energy and turned gray-black, appearing particularly weak.
"Bingying!" Mark's heart tightened and he rushed forward.
"Don't go over there!" Selina grabbed Mark's arm with a solemn expression, "Avilla's power is far beyond your imagination. You're just going to die if you go over there now."
Mark looked at the injured Bingying, his eyes full of worry and anxiety. He struggled to get rid of Selina's hand, "I can't leave it alone!"
Selina bit her lip and finally let go. She knew Mark's character. Once a decision was made, no one could change it. She could only increase the energy output of the scepter again and do her best to provide support to Mark.
Mark rushed to Bingying, knelt on one knee, and checked its injuries. "Bingying, how are you?"
Bingying raised his head, licked the back of Mark's hand with his tongue, and made a weak whimper. It struggled to stand up, but fell to the ground weakly.
Elvira slowly descended from the air and stood not far from Mark, with a mocking smile on her face. "What a touching master-servant relationship." She clapped her hands lightly, making a crisp sound, "But, that's all." She raised her right hand, and the black energy gathered at her fingertips again, forming a larger energy ball. Mark stood up, protecting the ice shadow behind him, and the long sword in his hand made a buzzing vibration. "Elvira, I won't let you hurt it!" His eyes were firm, and his tone was full of determination. Elvira sneered, "Really? Then let me see how capable you are!" She suddenly threw the energy ball in her hand at Mark.
