Yohan: Ah... ahhh...a-aaaah...
After having been splattered by blood of a deep red color, he had caught sight of even more red. However, this time, it didn't splatter all over his face and body.
He had locked eyes with something. It wasn't something of a red color, but rather its eyes were.
Eyes so red one would think it was dyed by the blood it sprayed on Yohan. However, it was always like that. Those eyes were huge, so much that one eye was the size of his entire body. If that thing blinked, it could most likely trap Yohan in its eyes.
Yohan: Ah... aaah...
Those eyes were extremely frightening. One glance had left Yohan frozen in place. Unable to say anything. He was unable to do anything but panic.
That things eyes, were absolutely huge, but how big was the rest of it? Though, he couldn't really break eye contact. He was utterly terrified.
Nevertheless, he slowly, but eventually lowered his gaze to look at the rest of that thing. And lo and behold...
It was way too big. Its size was close to incomprehensible. It was super tall, and it was super wide. It was super muscular and super hairy. It was strength incarnate.
And only word popped up in Yohans head that could describe the being...
Yohan:... Fucking... Giant.
Giant. The only word appropriate for his terrifyingly huge monster. One that possibly exceeded the heights of towers and was wider than the likes of many fortresses.
His eyes would continue to gaze on the body of this giant, looking all over, until his eyes caught a glimpse of something else.
It was red, a deep red. Yet, he wasn't looking at the giants eyes. No, he was looking at the giants arm, which was clutched tightly into a fist. Yohan was confident that the color of the giants body and hair, which he saw with his own eyes, was undoubtedly gray. However, that wasn't the case for the giants fist. It was instead a red color, as if red paint had been spilled all over it. He wasn't fully sure as to what it was until the giant eventually opened its hand.
From there on, it was disgustingly too clear. He saw something that was completely unrecognizable the first time. However, he had seen something of the like earlier ago, way before he had reached the edge of the cliff.
As he looked down at his shoes, he reminisced over the time that one bug bit him, and he stepped on it in response. Though, to call it reminiscing would be a stretch, considering it happened less than an hour ago. Though, what he saw afterward was fresh in his memory. When he stepped on it, it had become something unrecognizable. Though, a better way to describe it would've been that it turned to 'mush'.
And that's the exact same thing he saw on that giants hand. Something that had been squeezed to 'mush'.
Yohan: Ah... aaaaah...
It was pink, like flesh. It was also red, like blood. But most of all, it was white like...
*****
Yohan: No fucking way.
Looking at whatever had been on that giants hand, he realized what it was. Though the matter was utmost surprising.
Yohan: I'm in deep shit.
He looked all over that giants hand, and had caught Something other than that colorful display of gore.
There were fangs. Or rather, an entire mouth. It was utterly long, and carried a plethora of teeth. From Yohans memory, it was meant to elongated into a smile dyed in his blood, but now it was in the shape of a frown. And not too far from it...
He saw four eyes.
Yohan: Shit.
He had seen all that was on that giants hand. Whatever it was.
A long maw, with many fangs.
Four eyes that he'd sworn he'd seen before.
Splatters of red, like blood.
Clumps of pink, like ground flesh.
And strands of white... like that monsters fur.
Yohan: Shit shit shit shit shit.
Earlier ago, before seeing the giant, he wanted to know where that monster had went. However, he really didn't want to figure it out this way.
For his own sake, he didn't need to find out this way.
Yohan: I'm dead.
He didn't need to say that. After all, he had to use everything in his arsenal, including luck, to survive that monsters attack.
So why... why did that monster have to go and get itself killed?
It was obvious why. It didn't intend to. Earlier ago, it blindly jumped over the cliff, thinking it could catch Yohan. Little did it know that it jumped into its early doom, getting crushed to death.
Yohan: Aah... Ahhh... Aah... aaaah.
But why... why... did it have to get killed so easily?
What would that mean for Yohan, who had grasped at straws just so he wouldn't die in the face of it?
Yohan: Aaaaah...
His heartbeat rising fast, his breath growing unsteady, his body convulsing, his legs shaking, his pupils dilating. And in-between his legs, it got warmer, and warmer, and warmer...
And that warmth trickled down all the way to his feet and further down.
Yohan: Ahh...
He couldn't see what exactly it was that moved down his pants, but seeing how it continued to wet his blood-soaked pants, he could tell exactly what it was.
He was embarrassed to even think about it. He was embarrassed to have done it in front of that giant, even if it lacked any social awareness. He was so vulnerable in that moment, and the fact that he went and did that didn't help at all. So he looked away from the mess he made and returned his gaze to those red eyes again. Eyes he though he couldn't avoid no matter
To have pissed himself uncontrollably, that only meant one thing...
Yohan: You're not gonna kill me like you did with him, right¿
He was beyond frightening. He was beyond terrified. He was scared shitless.
*****
Yohan: Why the hell did I have to end up here?
Yohan was terrified. Terrified of the situation he was placed in. Terrified of wherever he was. Terrified of the blood that spurted out of his left arm. Terrified of the ground, that was hundreds of meters below him. Terrified of the forest he couldn't return to, even if he wanted to. Terrified of the fatigue that was soon to invads his body. Terrified of those red eyes that glared at him Terrified for his own life.
He was terrified of everything.
And that giant was the cause of it all. Out of all the nonsense he's encountered in this hour, this was by far the biggest threat to his life. The worst part was that he couldn't do anything at all.
When he looked at the giants palm, he could recognize the unrecognizable pile of mush as the white monster that gave him so much trouble. Going far as too eat his arm off. With one squeeze of its palm, the giants instantly put it's life to an end.
So if that giant could easily smother out that monster, then what would it make of Yohan?
Yohan: Is this the end?
He was at a complete loss. A situationship that he truly couldn't overturn. He could only dangle on the cliffs edge and watch as that giants unoccupied finger made it's way to him, ready to turn him into mush as well.
Yohan: My life...
Was gonna come to an end. He was sure of it.
One single poke from that gargantuan...
... and SPLAT!
...He'd be dead.
Yohan: Why? Why? Why?
Why... was I gonna die?
No, that wasn't what he asked himself. Instead, he wanted to know something else.
Why did I end up here?
Although, it seemed all too pointless too ask himself that question.
He couldn't remember how he had gotten to this place. As a matter of fact, he didn't even know where he was. He couldn't remember anything that would explain how he ended up here. All he remembered was that he was before he woken up in this place, he was in the midst of an adventure and had...
Yohan: No fucking ways...
He had begun to panic even more.
When he had woken up in this place, he was lying on his back, in slight plain.
Yohan: Did I fall?
That was what he asked himself at that time. Though it was weird that he didn't treat that matter with much importance.
"DONT FALL THERE!!! STAY ABOVE THE SURFACE!!!'
Those were words said by his father, who was also an adventurer. He had uttered those words of advice a while before he was deemed a psycho by the world. Yet, Yohan trusted those words wholeheartedly and had seen it through to the end that he never fell.
And now, he had fallen from that tree, and ended up on the cliff edge, where he stared right into deaths eyes. However, his view of that giants eyes were slowly being blocked by the huge finger heading towards him.
Yohan: No No No No No
He didn't want to die, but more than that, he didn't want to die at the hands of that giant. However, that was his fate. He was going to die in a place he didn't know of, where no one would find assuming a corpse would remain of him after he died.
Yohan: This is...
There was nothing he could do, but wait until the finger would ram into him and pulverize his insides. He really wanted to live, especially after all he had done in this hour to merely survive.
Though, even if the giant finger aimed at him, did it truly aim for his life?
