The Strongest Training

Krillin jolted awake, excitement lighting up his face. I really am the strongest protagonist!

"You might be celebrating a bit too early," the system interjected with disdain.

"This system's greatest strength is assisting you. Forget those overpowered fantasies of 'one slash, 999 damage.' Don't expect shortcuts. The guiding principle here is simple: strength comes from hard work."

"Now, any questions? If not, I'll go back to sleep."

"Wait!" Krillin shouted. "What are you even talking about? I don't understand anything yet. What kind of system are you?"

The system sighed theatrically. Alright, look at the screen.

Training Assistance System

This system is designed to assist Earthlings in training and improving their presence in the universe. There are no hidden secrets to discover; everything is explained as follows:

Current Details:

Date: Age 756Name: KrillinAge: 20Race: EarthlingCombat Power: 100Skills: Kamehameha, Solar Flare, Afterimage Technique...Training Limit: 1,500 combat power

Krillin furrowed his brow in confusion. "What exactly can you do?"

"This system allows you to break past Earthling limits and unlock infinite potential. For example, your current combat power is 100, and your potential cap is 1,500. Under normal circumstances, without special events or breakthroughs, you'd plateau around 1,500. But when you reach near your limit—say, 1,200—progress will become painstakingly slow. At that point, I can help you shatter the limit, pushing your potential cap to 5,000. Each new limit becomes your next goal."

"So, do you understand now?" the system explained patiently.

Krillin was momentarily dazed, then burst into a fit of excitement and joy. His biggest worry as an Earthling had always been his natural limitations. Earthlings struggled to surpass 50,000 combat power, but now, with the system breaking those barriers, everything seemed possible.

All that was left was to plan his training meticulously. Master Roshi's philosophy—study hard, train hard, eat well, and rest well—summed up the essence of growth.

"Five hours of training a day should be enough. Rushing will only backfire. And I'll dedicate two hours daily to studying. I want to be a cultured warrior..." With these thoughts, Krillin drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, sunlight crept into his room, gently warming Krillin's face and waking him up. Yawning, he got out of bed and walked to the living room.

There, the kind-hearted Launch had already prepared breakfast. She greeted him with a smile, "Good morning, Krillin."

"Morning, Launch! Morning, Master Roshi!" Krillin replied cheerfully.

"Come sit down and eat," she urged.

Master Roshi observed Krillin quietly. The boy seemed different—more confident, with a subtle but radiant glow in his eyes. Roshi smiled, gratified by the change. He's always been a hardworking child, but after the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament, he became a bit melancholic. It's good to see him like this again.

"Master, I'm full. I'm off to train now!" Krillin said before heading out.

"This boy's getting diligent," Roshi mused with a nod.

Krillin's mind buzzed with calculations. "My current combat power is 100. I remember that when Raditz arrives on Earth, mine will be 206, while Goku's will range between 334 and 416. Right now, Goku's around 280, so the gap isn't huge yet. But later, the gap will be in the billions. Now's my best chance to catch up. Goku barely improves over the next four years, and Piccolo will spend that time honing his Special Beam Cannon. Marriage really does hold Goku back!"

With a sly grin, Krillin muttered, "Time to get used to my body and sharpen my combat instincts. Let's start with the basics."

"Two thousand push-ups!" Krillin barked to himself.

At 105, he still didn't feel tired. "Man, I'm strong!" he marveled. By the time he finished 2,000 push-ups, only a light sweat glistened on his skin.

"Let's keep going: 2,000 burpees, 5,000 sit-ups, 10,000 squats…"

By the end, Krillin's arms trembled as he held himself up. A pool of sweat formed beneath him. Come on, Krillin! You've got this! he urged himself, teeth gritted.

Finally, his muscles gave out, and he collapsed, panting heavily.

Ding! The system activated. "Host has reached physical limits. Recovery function initiated."

A soothing energy enveloped Krillin's body, rejuvenating him. Every time he pushed himself to the limit, the system's recovery ability would restore him, enabling uninterrupted training.

Lying on the ground, Krillin felt warm and relaxed. Slowly, he drifted into a restorative nap.

Three hours later, Krillin woke up, feeling completely refreshed. His muscles were free from soreness, and his body brimmed with energy.

"This is amazing! I can train without holding back now," he exclaimed, ready to push himself further.

Later, Krillin approached Master Roshi, who was basking in the shade of a coconut tree.

"Master, do we still have those old training turtle shells? I'd like to use one," Krillin asked.

"They're in the back storeroom, but at your level, they won't be much help. You'd need something heavier. Perhaps you can commission one in town," Roshi replied.

"I'll make do with what we have for now, Master," Krillin said, silently adding, I'm broke.

The next day, wearing a 40-kilogram turtle shell, Krillin began his rigorous training anew. Push-ups, burpees, and more left his body drenched in sweat. Every time he reached his limit, thoughts of Android 18's face and the incredible power to shatter planets fueled his determination.

Resting briefly, Krillin felt the system's energy restoring him once again, just like the Saiyans' healing pods.

Seven days passed. On the seventh, Krillin finally mastered the Kamehameha Wave. A brilliant blue beam erupted from his palms, obliterating a distant hill.

"This power… it's exhilarating," Krillin muttered, though he was acutely aware of his lack of battle experience.

Still, with the system, he knew he could keep growing stronger. This time, he wouldn't stop.

"I swear," Krillin whispered, clenching his fists, "I'll become the strongest Earthling in history."
