Journey to Korin Tower

Thinking back to how he had thoroughly beaten up Piccolo, Krillin couldn't help but chuckle. He remembered how, during the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament, Piccolo had mockingly called him a "little baldy."

"Ha! I guess I got my revenge in a roundabout way," he laughed.

Reflecting on his strength, Krillin realized that he was now practically unmatched on Earth. Even if Goku and Piccolo teamed up, they likely wouldn't stand a chance against him. Feeling smug, he indulged in a moment of pride. After all, in his previous life, he was just an ordinary human with average physical abilities. But now, possessing such immense power, a little self-satisfaction was hard to resist.

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Krillin reminded himself that his current strength was insignificant in the vastness of the universe. As the Dragon Ball Z era approached, Goku and Piccolo's power would skyrocket exponentially. Krillin could only sigh at the comparison.

"I'm still in my super-speed training phase. As long as I put in the time, I can naturally reach my limit. But once I hit that limit, the energy required for further growth will become a bottomless pit. I need to figure out how to secure more energy soon," Krillin mused.

"Korin's stock of Senzu Beans might be a good source of energy. Hopefully, that glutton Yajirobe hasn't eaten them all. It's time to head to Korin Tower. Besides, I still have some gaps in my training with ki that need filling," he thought to himself.

Korin Sanctuary, the ancient and mysterious origin of Earth's martial arts, was a place Krillin had heard Goku mention before. With a general sense of its location, he set off in that direction.

"Ha! In 75 days, I'll finally surpass my current limits," Krillin thought, feeling triumphant.

Transforming into a blur of motion, Krillin sped toward Korin Sanctuary, unaware that it was located on the opposite side of the globe from Yunzabit Heights. Ahead lay a 10-day journey.

Halfway There

Five days later, Krillin arrived at a bustling town. Streets were crowded with people and vehicles, and animals roamed peacefully among the townsfolk. Tired from his high-speed travels, Krillin decided it was time to rest and recharge.

He checked into the town's finest hotel, opting for the Royal Suite. In this world, there were no presidents—only the King of the United Kingdom. While his body could recover quickly, Krillin needed a mental break from the constant travel.

"Phew…" he sighed contentedly as he sank into a plush bed, quickly falling into a deep and restorative sleep.

As the town quieted and the moon rose high, Krillin rested soundly, his exhaustion melting away.

The next day, Krillin awoke feeling refreshed. Stretching, he muttered, "Ah… so comfortable!" Then, his stomach let out a loud growl.

"Guess I'll grab some food and prep a gift for Korin," Krillin decided. After all, he had a favor to ask. As the saying goes, "When you take someone's hand, you owe them; when you eat their food, you owe even more."

He planned to offer Korin some premium seafood as a gesture of goodwill—especially since he wanted as many Senzu Beans as possible.

Though the Royal Suite offered food, Krillin found the taste underwhelming. Despite that, he ended up consuming enough to feed ten people, leaving the staff in stunned silence as he walked out.

Shopping for Seafood

Krillin headed to the town's largest seafood market. The pungent smell of fish greeted him. "Wait… I don't have a nose. How am I even smelling this?" he muttered, puzzled.

"Hey, boss," Krillin called out to the shopkeeper, a sunburned middle-aged man who looked like he'd spent years braving the sea. "How much stock do you have? I'll take it all. But only if it's fresh!"

"All of it?" the shopkeeper asked, thinking he'd misheard.

"You heard me!"

The man's face lit up like a flower in bloom. "I've got about two tons of stock, but it's from last week. Will that work?"

Krillin shook his head. "I need five tons of fresh seafood."

The shopkeeper hesitated, then explained, "There's a shipment arriving tonight. It's been in transit for five days but packed with ice, so it should still be fresh. Will that do?"

After some thought, Krillin nodded. "That works."

With a grin, the shopkeeper agreed but requested a deposit given the large order. Krillin handed it over without hesitation, and the man set off to arrange the delivery.

Delivery and Departure

Two and a half hours later, the shopkeeper returned with a large cart loaded with seafood. After inspecting the quality, Krillin was satisfied. He paid the remaining balance and stored the goods in his capsule.

"Wow… using a capsule for seafood? Must be nice to be rich," the shopkeeper marveled.

With the gift for Korin secured, Krillin resumed his journey. As he soared into the sky, the town grew smaller and eventually disappeared from view.

The Final Stretch

The landscape gradually changed. Dense forests replaced human settlements, and the signs of civilization faded. Ancient trees towered above, their canopies blotting out the sun. The deep forest exuded an eerie, mysterious vibe, prompting Krillin to quicken his pace.

Five days later, under a drizzling sky, Krillin finally caught sight of Korin Tower. Shrouded in mist, the towering structure stood like an iron monolith, majestic and imposing. Its silhouette pierced through the clouds, seemingly endless.

Standing before it, Krillin couldn't help but admire the sight. "In my past life, the Eiffel Tower couldn't hold a candle to this."

As he approached the base of the tower, Krillin marveled at its ancient, weathered surface. The structure bore the weight of centuries, its history evident in every crevice. For countless martial artists, Korin Tower was sacred ground, a source of inspiration and revelation. Of course, Goku was the exception—he probably didn't think that deeply.

Krillin's moment of awe was abruptly interrupted as a spear whizzed past his face, embedding itself into the ground ahead.

The message was clear: the thrower wasn't aiming to kill, but to warn.

A voice rang out, "Outsider, leave Korin Sanctuary at once!"
