Phoe's POV:
Noah didn't even flinch. He moved the hand not currently inside of me over to the doorway, shooting his angelic light from his palm.
This insane notion would have phased me had I not been aching for the need he was fulfilling.
The figure in the doorway was now gone, and I didn't feel bad about that fact. My eyes quickly snapped back to Noah's, and we were back in our own world.
"Yes," My voice came out as a whisper.
He had the utmost determination and care in every movement.
He's still staring into my eyes, and I can't look away from him either.
"You're in heat, Phoenix. You're going to be okay. I'll never let you be in pain; that's my promise to you." His words are like a purr, vibrating through me.
He curls his fingers up inside me, causing my breath to hitch and a moan to escape my quivering lips.
