Jaspers POV:
She laughed when I asked her what the payment would be. I pulled out the bag of gold coins I had brought, giving her a confused expression.
"Those gold coins don't mean anything to me, child," she says as if she is so much older than me.
"I'm not a child," I scoff, tossing the bag of coins on the table.
She shakes her head at me.
"You must make a choice, my dear, this one or this one," she says, picking each bottle up one at a time.
"I can't choose at this time. I want both. I need to talk to her first," I say, exasperated.
She shakes her head furiously. Her white hair whipped around.
"That won't do," she says, now staring me dead in the eyes.
Her eyes are magnetizing. I feel myself getting pulled in. I can't look away from her.
