I watch as he closes his eyes, taking a moment to absorb this feeling before closing the gap between our lips.

I slide my fingers up his chest and wrap my hands around the back of his neck, pulling him closer to me. He groans in response, vibrating against my lips.

Everything is spinning and I can't make sense of it all.

"Phoenix, call their healer!" Raph yells at me, making my eyes snap over to his.

"I..." I can't manage words, I'm spiraling quickly.

Noah walks up to me, cupping my face in his hands. They glow that beautiful light, taking in all of my anxiety and fear.

"It's going to be okay," he says. Leaving bloody fingerprints on my cheeks.

I didn't even realize I was crying until the salty taste entered my mouth as I parted my quivering lips.

"Where was he hurt?" I can hear Pru but Noah is working on bringing me back into reality. Our eyes are connected, and I can't remove my gaze.

"It happened so fast. I have no idea," Raph's voice is shaking. Making my knees start to feel weak.

"Don't drift Phoe. Focus on me," Noah says.

I close my eyes, letting him work his gift through me.
