Me, Jo, and Eli were sitting at the dining room table after Zeph and Phoe had left to go speak with Pru. Raph had gone to check on them shortly afterward.

Jasper's house was very quaint. It's a shame he destroyed half of his things as I imagine a lot of it was irreplaceable.

It was a fortunate stroke of fate that the dining room table, constructed from sturdy and enduring oak, remained steadfast and unyielding, capable of withstanding the fury of his temper tantrum.

I was starting to wonder what Phoenix saw in this guy or if it was just the bond that had kept her here so long.
