Phoenix:
After my embarrassing display and Raph's verbal acceptance of Noah, something significant shifted.
I could feel it, and I know that Noah could, too.
We had left and were getting closer to my parents' house. Pru was quiet the entire ride.
"Little wolf, will you please text me your sizes? Mom is going to plan the ceremony so we can make it in and out quicker," Raph says, squeezing my thigh.
He was driving, I was passenger, and Noah and Pru were in the back.
"I bet your mom is so excited," Noah says.
My heart hurts a little bit when I realize that Noah knows Raph and his family better than I do. I really messed up by leaving them the way I did.
"No, you weren't meant to leave. I can see the reason more clearly now," Noah says, reading my feelings perfectly, which is really getting annoying.
