"You have to hit him with one of your medical sticks. His vitals are crashing—I think it's from the cold and the fact that he hasn't eaten all day," Ariella warned me mid-flight.
I never felt the weather because of the nanobots, but it was different for normal people. Using one of my precious drug infusion capsules seemed like a waste, though.
"Why? We're almost there. I can see the lights in the distance—it must be five or six kilometers away, right?" I hesitated. It might not be his base, but Ariella had tracked those people to this general area.
"Just trust me. I think he'll need it. Besides, those capsules can be reproduced if you gather the right raw materials. I've already located a lot of interesting things in the area," she said mysteriously.
My heart sank at those words. It was never good when Ariella found something "interesting."
