"Relax, I'm just messing with you." Ariella broke the tension with a sweet chuckle.

"Don't worry about her. She has a nasty personality, so in the future, you should avoid her." Theo took the chance to berate Ariella.

"Says the pervert," Ira mumbled just loud enough for him to hear.

Zara, however, remained quiet. She understood why Ariella had put Myra in such a situation—she was testing them. Unlike the knucklehead captain, Ariella was far more dangerous in her eyes.

Someone who could control futuristic technology on a whim and remain hidden inside the ship without revealing herself was a real threat, not Theo. Up until now, neither Theo nor Ariella had discussed anything about her physical whereabouts. Ariella contacted them solely through the ship's interfaces, and if she couldn't, she would use a drone to deliver communication devices.
