It was the year 2030, in the modern era of humanity. A virtual game was released to the mass public known as Isekai World Online, It blew up in sales and its marketing campaign was extremely successful. People went into the game and enjoyed its play style, even the graphics were realistic. People questioned who made the game, as the company that supposedly created it has never been heard of by anyone, and their location is anonymous, but despite that, people continued to play it. Millions across the world enjoyed it, and its fan base continued to grow.

The main character, Lee Kennedy, was one of the first people to play in the game’s beta before it released. He and a handful of players would grind the game and level up the highest they could go. However, everything changed for everyone once they logged back into the game, to realize the true intentions behind this game. 

For so long, people questioned why it was called Isekai World Online, but now they were bestowed with the truth. Their souls were trapped in the game, abiding by the laws of this new world.

"You have done me a great service, Astoria. Summoning you from the ritual port was my greatest idea to achieve such a hardworking servant."

Astoria was on one knee, bowing before her master.

"I am not deserving of such praise, Lady Lilith..."

"Are you certain? Very well, then I suppose this gift I was going to give you is useless," She clapped her hands, bringing one of her butlers next to her throne, "Rupert, destroy the gift."

"Wait!!" Astoria extended her hand, halting their actions, "I-I was just showing my astonishment, Lady Lilith! I didn't expect to be praised by you, that's why I said those words!"

"Fuhuhu, very well. Rupert, hand Astoria her gift, she deserves it."

"Mmm." He nodded, approaching Astoria as he gave her a miniature case.

"A gift... from Lady Lilith..." Astoria graciously accepted the reward, placing it in both hands, "What could it be?"
