Ten girls who recently moved to a new town called Los Angeles, California to live and to school.
They moved into this town without their parents, they were admitted into Auburn University, UCLA, each of them carrying a genuine intention of starting college, studying and graduating with a bachelor's degree. 
Each of these girls went with their views and characters, ideas and aspirations that were enacted by the students, the way things were done and whosoever went against these rules were called 'weird, awkward, different or a nerd'. 

These 10 young girls stepped in without the realization of these rules, they were all said to be virgins, they had high self esteem, good cognitive, beauty and good character but as new- comers 'Freshers' some of them had to bend their rules to please others and those watching in order not to be called weird, odd, awkward or different. 

They saw fellow colleagues taking drugs, having fun, going to night parties and hanging out with friends of spoilt behavior and chose to follow.

 They wanted to be seen, to be accepted, recognized, in short 'popular', they found it intriguing and it was said that in order to be seen, popular, you have to join them.

These same girls who hated bad image, had good upbringing had to start all over again to form their image and character because they let people decide it for them.

The games have already been made, who would change the games, what would happen to the remaining five girls? 

The boys made the game, the girls changed the game in this novel find out what it means for a player to ne played, who can change the games and the rules?

~Writer's Pov~

It was 2 days to the Freshers' party which was on Friday night, that same resumption week.

Everyone was getting ready to go except some girls which were Mikayla, Ava, Ann, Ama and Erella.

~Mikayla's Pov~

This Wednesday, I didn't really feel like going to school, school was boring when you knew no one, guess I had to make friends.

I got ready, got dressed for school, getting to the section of my locker, lot's of students were already looking at me, whispering things I couldn't grasp but the stares were much and I hated it, a girl said 'News is going round!' she said speaking to her neighbor 'She spoke to Scott rudely, everyone is saying she is a new girl but she doesn't act like a new girl at all with that attitude' Another girl chips in 'Like, I don't get, who is she to speak to him in such rude manner, no one has ever done that here'.

Ooh, I could sense hatred in the air and then I felt someone close to me 'What are they yemming about?' she asked, feeling unconcerned with a reluctant face but that was kind of ironical since she asked the question, I turned to look and she said 'Hi', 'I think they are talking about me' I replied, 'Well, that's pretty bizarre for a fresher like me' I guess that was supposed to be funny but I didn't find it funny at all.

She brought out a hand for a shake, she said 'My name is Erella, I'm also a fresher, studying business administration, so sorry about the fuss' she said referring to the whispers about me around the hall.

I just smiled, genuinely, ' It's okay, it's not you who caused it' I think I'm getting to like this girl she is different.

'Oh, I'm so sorry, I haven't introduced myself, I'm Mikayla Cole, Father of Harrison Cole, the Popular business tycoon' I smiled as I said.

'Oh my God, The mining Family, my mom is obsessed with your father! ... I mean not that kind of obsessed but she loves his works most importantly his personality'.

This was the first time I was ever genuinely smiling since I got to this school, she continued 'She tried to get into one of his aunctions but she couldn't, she later heard that it was for the executives only' she finalized.

I chuckled 'Well, it's the Cole family not the Mining family', Erella just giggled.

'And I am so sorry about that, my dad is not a person to like crowds that was why he made it for the CEO's only' I said.

Erella hearing this said 'Oh, it's no problem, just wanted to mention how my mom loves your dad's work and intellect, infact the whole personality'

Erella continued ' I'm so sorry about those girls , most people are really immature around here'

'No, it's no problem, just glad I met you' I said

'Um, I'm about to go to class, so.... I don't know, we have a study group every Wednesdays and Thursdays, I don't know if you would like to join us after classes are over, you know follow us to study' she implied, I nodded 'Yeah, sure, studying is essential, I would love to come', I said 'Oh, that's nice, okay, the study group would be taking place at Wendy Boms' house, by 4pm, give me your number so I can text you the location' Erella said.

'Oh, Wendy Boms?, I think I know her the one in charge of the tour for the freshers in Auburn?' I asked.

'Yeah, that's the one, oh you know her already, so um, getting acquainted would not really be a problem' she suggested

'Yeah, I believe so, she was the one who showed me around the school here' I said.

'See, all settled, so your number?' she asked, realizing I haven't given her my number yet, I nodded.

I suddenly called out the number for her to dial it in.

By this time I was already late for class and entering the class after the Lecturer already entered was a bad incident for me, but there was nothing I could do at this point.
