Marco's complexion drained and his eyes widened with fear.

"Louisa, please hear me out ...."

She balled her fists, her gaze burning with fury.

Her eyes bore into him as if he were a betrayer.

"We've never been alone together, so how did you get such a picture?"

"And when I asked if you had feelings for me before, you said no. Were you dishonest?"

"I always thought of you as just a good colleague, but you actually like me?"

The man stepped towards her nervously, his expression uneasy.

"No, Louisa. My feelings for you are my own. I never intended to come between you and Mr. Gilmore."

"My attraction to you hasn't affected my work performance. We're still an excellent team."

"Those images ... they're just wishful thinking ...."

Louisa crumpled and demanded, "I asked where this photo came from?"

She was desperate to uncover the truth behind the picture, as if proving its authenticity would confirm her love for me.

Marco was the only one harboring unrequited feelings.
