Chapter 37

Several months passed.

My search for Lucas's remains yielded no results.

I went to that forest many times.

But it had been night, and I had no idea which direction I had run.

In the end, I had to give up.

I began sorting through old photos.

I started documenting Lucas's story, bit by bit, on my Twitter.

Many details, after three years, had become fuzzy.

Initially, I only did this out of fear that with the passage of time, I would forget even more.

But unexpectedly, the posts went viral.

An overwhelming flood of comments, all wanting to know more about his story.

Someone said: "That old-school work ethic ingrained in their bones, they can create a garden anywhere."

Some of his former patients recognized him.

"Dr. Sterling was truly wonderful. When my mom was sick and a bit confused, he always spoke to her patiently, never showing any frustration."
