The kings guard had barely set foot in the water when the water hit them with such immense force they were thrown back immediately, their bodies hitting the rocky shoreline hard, causing their bones to snap, incapacitating half of them and inflicting large injuries on the others. Several of them left trails of red in the water as they crawled back out of the water, tattered coats draping off of them as they reverted to their human form.

"Shit." Lugh cursed, his body still weak as he ran down the stone pathway after the guards, trying not to faint. The throbbing in his head from the loss of his godlike power continued to inflict him.
