chapter52:A Special Encounter

The kidnapper was sitting in the driver's seat and viciously looked back and said, "Little girl, behave yourself! If you dare to play any tricks, you'll be in for it!" Little Amy's mouth was taped shut with double-sided tape and she could only make a sad sound.

Her eyes were covered with a black cloth by the kidnapper and she couldn't open them no matter what. Her heart was filled with despair.

But Little Amy didn't give up the thought of surviving.

She tried her best to calm herself down and quietly groped with her bound hands on the seat, hoping to find something to cut the tape.

Outside the car, Tom and Officer Bobby were approaching quietly.

Tom whispered to Officer Bobby, "We have to be careful. We can't let the kidnapper notice us." Officer Bobby nodded seriously and said, "yes, we must ensure the safety of the little girl."

Suddenly, there was a loud "broom" and the private car caught fire without any warning.

The flames instantly engulfed the whole car and thick black smoke billowed up, with a pungent smell spreading everywhere.

Tom shouted, "OMG!" Without hesitation, he rushed over. Despite the scorching of the flames, he pulled open the car door with great effort and finally dragged the unconscious Little Amy out of the car. Officer Bobby quickly subdued the kidnapper, then took out the walkie-talkie and said, "hi, is this the police station? I'm Bobby. There's a car incident at the hospital entrance. There's a little girl injured and unconscious here. Come and support us quickly!"

Before long, Little Amy's aunt rushed to the hospital. She rushed towards the emergency room anxiously. After seeing that Little Amy was out of danger, she let out a sigh of relief.

Little Amy slowly woke up. She saw Tom beside her, smiled weakly, took out a lollipop and a gold bronze mirror from her pocket, and handed them to Tom.

Her eyes were shining as if she had a thousand words to say. Tom took the things, full of doubts in his heart and said, "Little A, this is..." Little Amy whispered, "Big brother, this is for you. Thank you. I feel these things might be helpful to you and you'll use them in the future."

Tom looked at Little A and said gently, "Little A, why do you think these things will be helpful to me? This lollipop seems ordinary and this bronze mirror too..." Little Amy was eager to explain, but she was still very weak now and could only say intermittently, "Big brother, this bronze mirror... has a secret... the lollipop... is my lucky charm... I hope it can bring you good luck too." Little Amy repeated word by word according to the lines in her memory.

Although Tom didn't know she came from the future, she felt extremely lucky to meet him in this way.

Little Amy then looked at Officer Bobby beside him and reminded him in a cute voice, "Officer Bobby, you should exercise more. If you want to go to dangerous places, remember to call the police first." Officer Bobby was amused by the mature tone of this child and laughed, "Little A, you little girl, why are you acting like a little adult and lecturing me?" Little Amy said seriously, "Officer Bobby, because I know you'll encounter a lot of dangerous things in the future. If you're not strong enough, you might get hurt. And calling the police is very important, so that more people can help you."

Tom asked curiously beside her, "Little A, how do you know Officer Bobby will encounter dangerous things in the future? Do you have some special ability?" Little A's eyes dodged a bit and she quickly said, "No, no, big brother, I'm just talking casually. I just hope Officer Bobby can be safe and sound."

Tom looked at Little A. He always felt this little girl was a bit mysterious but couldn't say why. He smiled and said, "Little A, anyway, you're a very kind child. I hope you can grow up safely in the future too."

Little A looked gratefully at Tom and Officer Bobby and said, "Big brother, Officer Bobby, thank you. I'll be very careful in the future and won't let the bad guys catch me again."

At this time, Little A's aunt walked in. Seeing Little A chatting so happily with Tom and Officer Bobby, she also smiled with relief. She said to Tom and Officer Bobby, "Two gentlemen, really thank you so much for saving Little A. If it weren't for you, I don't know what to do." Tom smiled and said, "Aunt, you're welcome. This is what we should do." Officer Bobby also said, "Aunt, don't worry. We'll protect Little A well and won't let her be hurt again."

Little A was thinking silently in her heart. Although this was a dangerous encounter, because of this accident, she had the chance to have this special encounter with Tom and Officer Bobby. Maybe this was the arrangement of fate.
