Never been kissed

"You may go now," said Mr. Montaque.

Now that she served her purpose Mr. Montaque no longer required her services and treated Vivica like she was practically nonexistent.

To be frank, he seemed very dismissive of Vivica Knox and went so far as to even turn his back on her.

If Vivica was bothered by the fact that she was being blatantly ignored by Mr. Montaque she couldn't show it.

Vivica had an answering smile ready that didn't quite reach her eyes before she left the area.

"Ladies, this is my nephew Lucas and his best friend Tristan. Where's Bane?"

Mr. Montaque asked Tristan, who gulped his liquor before responding to the birthday boy.

"Sorry uncle, you know my younger brother can be such a workaholic, at times. He's running a bit late since they had an emergency meeting back at the main office."

"Is everything okay?"

Tristan responded, "Nothing that he can't handle."

Mr. Montaque's phone rang and he excused himself politely while stepping outside to answer the call.

So Tristan was the smoldering hot guy's first name.

Now that there wasn't the distance of the main table separating them Lisa was able to get a closer look at his features and she wasn't disappointed.

If he wasn't filthy rich, Tristan could have passed as a surfer bum.

Even though he looked young there had to be an age difference of at least ten years between them but that didn't stop Lisa from lusting.

He was willowy, lean and tan, looking like he would be at home at the beach instead of wearing a three piece suit right now.

Tristan looked like he could pass for a runway model, his light blonde hair was very long with streaks of gold running throughout his mane.

When he smiled at the women, his white teeth were even and he had the perfect set of dimples.

All he needed was some wings.

Since every time he bobbed his head to the music in the background his locks looked like they had a halo.

No matter how Tristan moved his hair kept getting caught in the warm glow of the multi-colored party lights.

Definitely tipsy from the hard liquor he was pouring with no chaser, his gaze made Lisa shiver as his eyes were a warm hazel that matched his hair.

Those gorgeous eyes of his, were framed by long lashes but that wasn't his best feature in her opinion, it was that panty dropping smile of his.

It almost felt like it was only the two of them and everyone else was just background noise.

He had that heart warming smile when he greeted Lisa and Chandra.

The beauty of his smile radiated from within and transformed his face in its entirety.

Chandra and Lisa were both to be doing the bottle service but Lucas put a stop to that.

He had both girls sitting at the table and imbibing on liquor and food as if they were invited guests themselves and not the hired help.

The other girls from CTA kept looking over at their corner in envy.

Tristan was a great conversationalist and a gentleman in every sense of the word.

Right now he was feeding her grapes and Lisa knew by the end of the evening she would be a little bit in love with him.

"You want them to do what?" screeched Vivica.

"You heard me," emphasized Tristan. While pointing at Lisa and Chandra. "I want those two lovely ladies to be a part of the group that will be staying for the celebration week at the opening of our new hotel in Las Vegas."

The way Tristan looked at her brought a flush of color to Lisa's cheeks.

Both her and Chandra squealed with delight, only Vivica's privileged friends were normally chosen for such gigs.

Now Tristan had picked the new girls to go on such a prestigious trip that would surely fatten their bank accounts so was it any wonder Lisa felt overjoyed.

The duo were about to become the envy of all the girls at Champion Talent Agency.

Chandra could scarcely believe her good fortune, her bank book could only get fatter from fraternizing with the Shadowhurst brothers.

She expected that thanks to this opportunity more doors would open for them with better higher paying jobs.

Lisa Belmont must be a good luck charm since only good things have been coming her way since the two ladies met and became fast friends.

"I'm not dreaming, am I?" asked Chandra. "Somebody pinch me?"

Lucas did and Chandra yelped out in pain and retaliated by smacking him, the next thing Lisa saw was the two of them French kissing.

Feeling a bit awkward and out of place Lisa excused herself politely to go to the bathroom.

She didn't like the way that Tristan had been kind of looking at her expectantly.

Luckily there was no line outside of the bathroom so Lisa used the toilet then it flushed itself after she was done tinkling.

After washing her hands, Lisa thought about how she had never been kissed.

Now that she composed herself, she decided to hurry and return to the others.

Even though she liked Tristan and these were different times from her previous life in France that didn't mean she was ready to swap spit with a stranger.

If she was honest with herself then Lisa should admit that she was more than open to the idea of getting to know him better.

She was so deep in thought that Lisa wasn't paying attention and knocked off a champagne glass from a waiter's tray on to a passing stranger.

Unfortunately for her the champagne glass turned over and wet the front of the guy's pants.

Only thinking to help Lisa removed a white handkerchief from her purse and proceeded to mop the champagne residue on the guy's crotch.

Shocked by her daring action, the stranger forcibly grabbed her hands and they made eye contact.

"Are you an idiot," there was an unnecessary edge to his voice as he muttered with disdain.

Clearly, he had been having a bad day and Lisa's actions had made it worse.

The next thing she felt was Vivica's animosity towards her as she pushed her out of the way.

Vivica practically salivated over the man as she apologized profusely on Lisa's behalf to Bane Shadowhurst, her future boss who finally made an appearance at the birthday party.

A/N: Heh... no one likes being the third wheel, Lisa has my sympathy.
