Chapter Twelve: A Risk Worth Taking

As Ava stepped into the room, she felt like she had entered a dream world. The candles and flowers created a warm, intimate atmosphere, and the soft music playing in the background added to the enchantment.

Mu Yusi smiled, his eyes glinting with pleasure. "I wanted to create a special moment for you," he said, his voice low and husky.

Ava felt a surge of emotion, her heart pounding in her chest. She couldn't believe the effort Mu Yusi had put into creating this magical night.

As they walked deeper into the room, Ava noticed a small, elegant table set for two. There was a beautiful dinner spread before them, with fine china and crystal glasses.

Mu Yusi pulled out a chair for Ava, and she sat down, feeling like a princess. He sat down across from her, his eyes locked on hers.

"I wanted to share a special dinner with you," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "One that you'll never forget."

Ava felt a lump form in her throat as she looked at Mu Yusi. She couldn't believe the way he was making her feel.

As they began to eat, Ava realized that this was more than just a dinner. It was a declaration of Mu Yusi's feelings, a statement of his intentions.

And as she looked into his eyes, Ava knew that she felt the same way. She was falling deeply in love with Mu Yusi, and she couldn't wait to see what the future held for them.

Ava couldn't help but notice the way Mu Yusi's eyes seemed to gleam in the dim light of the room. She felt a shiver run down her spine as he reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

"You're a very interesting woman, Ava," Mu Yusi said, his voice low and husky. "I have to admit, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed your company tonight."

Ava's heart skipped a beat as she met Mu Yusi's gaze. There was something in his eyes that seemed to hint at a deeper emotion, something that went beyond mere physical attraction.

"Surprised?" Ava repeated, her voice barely above a whisper. "Why?"

Mu Yusi's smile was enigmatic. "Let's just say that I'm not usually the type of person who gets attached to anyone," he said. "I'm a businessman, Ava. I don't have time for emotions or relationships."

Ava's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.

Mu Yusi leaned in closer, his voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "I own the biggest company in this city, Ava," he said. "I'm ruthless and cunning, and I'll stop at nothing to get what I want."

Ava felt a shiver run down her spine as she met Mu Yusi's gaze. There was something cold and calculating in his eyes, something that made her wonder if she was in over her head.

"But despite all of that," Mu Yusi continued, his voice low and husky, "I found myself feeling...attached to you, Ava. And I have to admit, it's been a very long time since I've felt that way about anyone."

Ava's heart was pounding in her chest as she met Mu Yusi's gaze. She could see the sincerity in his eyes, and it made her feel like she was melting into his arms.

"I'm not sure what to say," Ava said finally, her voice barely above a whisper.

Mu Yusi's smile was enigmatic. "You don't have to say anything, Ava," he said. "Just know that I'm interested in you, and I'd like to get to know you better."

Ava felt a surge of excitement at Mu Yusi's words. She knew that she was taking a risk by getting involved with him, but she couldn't help the way she felt.

"Okay," Ava said finally, her voice firm. "I'd like to get to know you better, Mu Yusi."

Mu Yusi's eyes gleamed with triumph as he leaned in and kissed her. Ava felt a surge of excitement at the touch of his lips, and she knew she was in for a wild ride.

As they kissed, Ava felt like she was melting into Mu Yusi's arms. She had never felt such a strong connection with anyone before, and it scared her.

But Mu Yusi seemed to sense her fear, and he pulled back, his eyes locked on hers. "I won't hurt you, Ava," he said, his voice low and husky. "I promise."

Ava felt a surge of emotion at Mu Yusi's words. No one had ever promised to protect her before, and it felt...nice.

"Okay," Ava said finally, her voice barely above a whisper.

Mu Yusi smiled, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "Good," he said. "Now, let's get out of here."

Ava nodded, and Mu Yusi took her hand, leading her out of the room. As they walked, Ava felt like she was walking on air.

She had no idea what the future held, but she knew one thing - she was ready to take a chance on Mu Yusi.

As they stepped out into the cool night air, Ava felt a sense of freedom that she had never felt before. She was ready to take on the world, as long as Mu Yusi was by her side.

But little did Ava know, Mu Yusi's world was not without its dangers. And Ava was about to find herself right in the middle of it.
