Uchiha Gen paused, meeting his father's confused gaze before continuing:

"As for how I know about Uchiha Madara's current scheme, that's information from my own sources. Dad, don't ask too much about it."

"I'm telling you this now so you, Mom, and my brother can be extra cautious."

"Our family is likely being watched by Uchiha Madara, and we may become his targets in his twisted plan."

"I'm afraid he'll take advantage of the war to manipulate events — push us into despair, force us to awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan, and then trick us into becoming his pawns."

Hearing this, Uchiha Chiichi frowned deeply.

"Despair...?"

He didn't need his son to explain further. He could guess what Madara might try.

If Madara's goal was to push their family into despair, that likely meant one thing — he would orchestrate the death of a loved one right in front of them.

That kind of trauma...

Uchiha Chiichi's expression darkened.

"That old bastard... Why couldn't he just die quietly the first time?"

"If he'd just stayed dead, we wouldn't be dealing with all this now!"

"And First Hokage too! Why couldn't he finish the job properly?"

Uchiha Chiichi grumbled bitterly.

He sighed, looking back at his son with a serious expression.

"Alright, I get it. I'll warn your mother and brother to be careful. I'll keep my guard up as well."

"I don't know where you're getting all this information from... but I trust you. You've never misled us before."

He paused, then added:

"By the way, Gen... Do you know how strong Madara is right now?"

"You said he's dying, so how much strength does he really have left? Could we... take him down if we strike first?"

"And... does he still have the Rinnegan?"

If Madara still possessed those legendary eyes, it would be an enormous threat.

Uchiha Gen shook his head.

"He's barely hanging on using some special technique — more like a walking corpse than a true shinobi now."

"But..."

His face darkened.

"...he can still return to peak form for a short time — and during that window, his power will be terrifying."

"I'd say he's a step below the strength he had when he fought the First Hokage. But still... far beyond your current level, Dad."

"Don't even think about fighting him directly. You won't stand a chance."

"Give me a few more years... then maybe I can take him on."

Uchiha Chiichi scowled.

"A 'super Kage-level' opponent, huh? That's no joke... Looks like confronting him head-on isn't an option."

"But what about the Rinnegan? Does he still have it?"

"No." Gen shook his head.

"He's replaced those eyes with an ordinary Sharingan. But even with the remaining traces of his original pupil power, he can still force the Mangekyō Sharingan to activate."

"That alone is enough to make him extremely dangerous."

"Wait... replaced his eyes?" Chiichi's confusion deepened.

"If he used Izanagi to fake his death back then, wouldn't that mean one of his eyes was blinded in the process?"

"How could he recover enough to awaken the Rinnegan later?"

"The Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan is unique," Gen explained.

"Even if an eye is blinded by Izanagi, it can still recover over time."

"And thanks to the Senju cells he transplanted into his body, the healing process accelerated."

"Still, it probably took him years to fully restore his vision and unlock the Rinnegan."

"That's why Madara didn't resurface until he was already near the end of his life."

"So... where's his Rinnegan now?" Chiichi pressed.

"He entrusted it to a descendant of the Uzumaki clan — to preserve and safeguard the eyes until his eventual resurrection."

"And yes... his resurrection method is indeed linked to the Rinnegan."

Chiichi's face twisted in frustration.

"Damn it! This makes everything worse... If he's brought back in his prime, that'll be a nightmare!"

He clenched his fists tightly.

"Relax, Dad." Gen reassured him.

"I've already placed mental seals in your mind — and in Mom's and my brother's as well."

"No one can extract information from you unless their mental strength far surpasses mine."

"Even if you wanted to spill the details, you wouldn't be able to."

"Wait... What?!"

Uchiha Chiichi's face twisted in surprise.

"You sealed me without telling me?!"

"Yep," Gen replied smugly. "I know how loose-lipped you can be."

"...This brat..."

Chiichi muttered under his breath, but he couldn't help chuckling a little.

"Well... I guess that's fair."

Tsunade's Brooding and Uchiha Gen's Request

In a private room at the Uchiha Restaurant, Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru sat together, drinking heavily.

"Damn it..." Jiraiya growled. "Forcing Sakumo to resign like that... What the hell is wrong with Konoha's leadership?"

"Don't they understand how dangerous this timing is?"

"The ninja world is on the brink of war, and they're busy sabotaging themselves!"

Tsunade snorted.

"You're just now realizing how manipulative the old man is?"

She gulped down her sake, setting the cup down hard on the table.

"This isn't the first time he's done something like this. He's been playing politics for years — suppressing anyone he thinks could threaten his power."

"Why do you think the Senju Clan has all but vanished?"

"Why do you think my brother Nawaki is gone?"

Jiraiya's expression darkened.

"Wait... Nawaki's death... You're saying...?"

"Oh, come on, Jiraiya." Orochimaru scoffed. "You think Danzo did that without Sarutobi-sensei's knowledge?"

"You're too trusting for your own good."

Tsunade abruptly stood up.

"I've had enough. I'm done talking about this."

Without another word, she stormed out of the restaurant.

Orochimaru sighed, shaking his head.

"You're too naive, Jiraiya."

With that, he stood and followed Tsunade out.

Jiraiya sat alone in silence, staring blankly at his drink.

Uchiha Gen's Meeting with Tsunade

Later that evening, Uchiha Gen found Tsunade at Kushina's house.

"What do you want now, brat?"

Tsunade's cheeks were flushed from alcohol as she absentmindedly ruffled Gen's hair.

"I need your help, Tsunade-sensei."

Gen explained his need for a powerful sword — one that could withstand the force of his newly created Super S-rank Ninja Sword Technique.

"Orochimaru might have a legendary blade — the Kusanagi Sword. Could you introduce me to him?"

Tsunade's eyes narrowed.

"Are you crazy?"

She leaned closer, her breath heavy with sake.

"That snake is dangerous... especially to a genius like you."

"You sure you want to take that risk?"

"I'll manage," Gen replied confidently.

"Besides... I've got a few tricks of my own."

Tsunade sighed deeply.

"Fine... but don't say I didn't warn you."
