"Alright!"
Tina Senju (Tsunade) nodded. "Go ahead! Leave this to us! Be careful out there!"
Just as Alex Washington was about to leave, Ethan (Ebizō) suddenly stood up and called out, "Take me with you! I can convince Rasa to surrender. Enough people have died in this war—it's time to stop the fighting! Please!"
He was terrified!
If this god of slaughter rushed over there, Ethan feared that the thousands of Sand Ninja under Rasa wouldn't be enough to stop this one strange boy.
Even the Tailed Beast was defeated, unilaterally crushed, and then sealed away by this person in just two moves!
Ethan finally realized—this light bullet transfer technique from earlier was identical to the way the Tailed Beast Bomb had suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
Obviously, that was also his doing.
They couldn't let Alex Washington go alone. If he did, he might annihilate what was left of Sand Village's forces.
Sand Village needed to keep at least some of its military power, or it would fall from the ranks of the Five Great Ninja Villages and become just another second- or third-rate minor village.
Alex glanced at Tina and asked, "What do you think, teacher?"
Honestly, he didn't care either way. If bringing Ethan along meant he could convince them to surrender, then it would still count as his accomplishment.
Besides, the battle on Danzo's side had already resulted in severe losses, but the damage Sand Ninja had taken was relatively moderate in comparison.
Even Jiraiya had just arrived and hadn't had time to contribute much to the fight.
"Alright, let him go," Tina said after some thought.
However, she then turned to Ethan and added, "But, considering the previous situation where you tried to deceive us, Sand Village will now owe us an additional one billion ryo in funds or supplies as compensation. How about that?"
Konoha was running extremely low on financial resources and supplies—they had to recoup their losses.
After all, the war wasn't over yet.
Even after dealing with Sand Ninja, Konoha still had to face Sound Village, Cloud Ninja, and Stone Ninja.
Tina didn't care whether Sand Village had the money or not.
If they didn't, they could go and ask the Daimyo of the Land of Wind for it—or better yet, let Rasa go mining for gold himself.
Didn't he have the ability to manipulate gold dust?
Then he could put that ability to good use!
And this demand wasn't just about money—it was also a tactic to weaken Sand Village further.
By draining their resources, Sand Ninja would be unable to recover enough strength to challenge Konoha for the next ten years.
"A billion? That's…"
Ethan's expression froze.
That was a huge amount.
They simply couldn't come up with that kind of money in the short term.
But looking at Tina and Alex's expressions, it was obvious they would continue attacking if he refused.
Finally, Ethan gritted his teeth and nodded with a pained expression. "I agree!"
"Good!"
Tina smiled in satisfaction, then gave Alex a knowing glance.
Alex immediately pulled out a blank scroll, quickly wrote down the agreed-upon terms, and appeared in front of Ethan in an instant.
Handing him the scroll and a pen, Alex said, "Everything is written here! Sign your name, press your fingerprint, and then we'll leave."
He wasn't about to take any chances.
If Sand Ninja did try to back out of the deal later, Alex would personally burn Sand Village to the ground.
Sure, he could just kill them all right now…
But he was a pacifist.
At least… when it was convenient.
Ethan looked at the contract and twitched slightly. This brat had everything prepared in advance!
But he still signed without hesitation and handed it back to Alex. "Alright. Please, lead the way!"
"By the way," Ethan continued, "I still don't even know your name."
Honestly, none of Sand Village knew this boy's name.
And that was terrifying.
They had just been utterly defeated by a child whose name they didn't even know.
Alex smirked. "Alex Washington."
Then, without another word, he grabbed Ethan's shoulder—
And in an instant, they disappeared.
Danzo's Battlefield – North of Sand Village
The moment they arrived, Jiraiya nearly jumped out of his skin.
"Whoa! Xuan! What the hell?!" Jiraiya nearly smacked Alex with a Lion's Barrage before realizing who it was.
Then he saw Ethan.
"Huh? Ethan?!" Jiraiya narrowed his eyes. "Xuan, why is he here? What's going on?"
Before Alex could respond, Rasa, who had been locked in combat with Jiraiya, froze.
"What's going on, Ethan?" Rasa demanded, his face darkening. "Why are you with that brat from Konoha?"
Ethan stepped forward and shouted, "It's over, Rasa! We lost! Shukaku has been sealed!"
Rasa's face went pale.
"The Tailed Beast was sealed?"
He couldn't believe it.
By this kid?
Was Ethan joking?
"Rasa," Ethan continued, "it's time to surrender! Enough people have died already—don't make this worse!"
Just as Rasa was processing all this, he suddenly felt something—
A hand had grabbed his shoulder.
A chill ran down his spine.
A calm, indifferent voice whispered from behind him:
"Are you sure you don't want to surrender?"
"If you refuse…"
"I'll crush you."
Rasa: "…!"
He wanted to move.
He wanted to use his gold dust to strike back.
But the moment he even thought about attacking—
CRACK!
A sickening snap echoed through the battlefield.
Pain exploded in his right shoulder.
His entire right arm went numb.
He couldn't move.
He couldn't breathe.
That wasn't just a threat—
Alex meant it.
"If you try anything again…"
Alex's grip tightened.
"I'll crush you."
Rasa froze.
He was about to die.
So, he did the only thing he could do.
"I… I surrender!" Rasa shouted.
The battlefield fell silent.
All the Sand Ninja stopped fighting.
The Konoha forces paused as well.
Jiraiya immediately signaled his troops to halt their attacks.
The battle was over.
Well…
For most of them.
Because Danzo was still fighting.
"Keep attacking!" Danzo ordered.
But with Sand Ninja surrendering and Konoha's main force already standing down, only his own troops were still engaged in combat.
And with less than a thousand soldiers left, they were completely outnumbered.
Danzo gritted his teeth in frustration.
"Jiraiya!" he snapped. "Why the hell did you order a truce?!"
Jiraiya glared at him.
"Because we already won, Danzo," he said coldly.
Danzo clenched his fists.
But he knew Jiraiya was right.
And what pissed him off the most…
Was that Alex Washington was the one who had won this battle.
And he had done it effortlessly.
