Julian flinched under Nolan's glare, his hands shaking as he stammered, "I-I only closed your wounds, but… The pain won't just disappear. Your body still needs time to recover."

Nolan's face contorted in fury, but before he could say anything more, Argilia stepped between them and knocked his hand away from Julian's chest.

"You should be grateful he even bothered to heal you at all. You brought this on yourself, and I hope you've learned your lesson. Maybe next time, you'll think twice before letting your arrogance put you in this position."

Nolan opened his mouth to argue, but Argilia raised her hand, snapping her fingers in front of his face to silence him.

"You're not on the same level as Damien, and you never will be. Stop acting like you are, or you'll end up like this again—if not worse."
