008 MORE HANDS FOR THE JOB

Leo sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "You're a moron."

"And you love it," she shot back, her laughter ringing out as the horse began to gallop forward. "Riding your Black Cock."

"Rooster… Seriously? Stop this shitty talk or I'll take off my pants right now for you," Leo warned, half-joking.

"Nah, I prefer cover on my saddle," she laughed, leaning against him and closing her eyes as if settling in for a nap.

Despite her constant teasing, their relationship remained platonic since their antics in the totem square. That was just how they interacted—playful, yet always with a hint of seduction beneath the surface.

As they rode together toward Gomora City, Leo held Dassa with one arm, balancing her weight as the horse trotted along the path, their destination set and their journey unfolding ahead of them.

-----

"Hey, you shouldn't make a fire in this forest," Dassa warned, jolting awake from her nap.

Leo was crouched by a small flame, roasting a rabbit over the fire. "I thought you'd be starving," he replied defensively.

In his past life, Leo had always loved barbecuing. Now, in this strange world, with Dassa as his only companion, he was eager to show off his skills.

"There are dangerous wolf packs here. The fire will attract them," Dassa said, her voice tinged with concern.

"Oh, fuck! Sorry, I didn't know," Leo stammered, quickly scrambling to put out the flames.

Just as he doused the fire, Dassa's stomach growled loudly.

Her eyes landed on the half-cooked rabbit. "Forget the fucking wolves. Just finish cooking the rabbit—the wolves can wait," she insisted, hunger winning over caution.

Leo quickly roasted the rabbit, and they ate in silence, momentarily forgetting the danger. But suddenly, Dassa's warning became reality.

"Wtf!!!"

A pack of wolves emerged from the shadows, circling them. These weren't ordinary wolves—they were massive, with eyes that glowed menacingly, muscles rippling under their fur. Their low growls sent a chill down Leo's spine.

"My stomach got us killed this time!" Dassa exclaimed, panic rising in her voice.

Leo's mind raced. "I've awakened my magic, but how the hell am I supposed to fight these things?" he asked, looking at Dassa for guidance.

"Awakening magic isn't enough. You need to learn to cast spells, otherwise, you're just a faster runner," she replied, clearly frustrated.

Leo obtained a spell from the System but that was a demonic spell. If possible, it was not wise to use it wantonly.

"We should run then!" Leo suggested, adrenaline kicking in.

"Run? My legs are numb from riding that damn horse all day," Dassa groaned. "Maybe give me a massage first."

"Dammit, I told you not to sit on me while riding!" Leo snapped, his frustration boiling over.

"Well, just let the wolves eat us. I'm too tired to care," she muttered, resigned but not worried at all.

"No! We're not dying here!" Leo growled, his panic giving way to determination.

The wolves were poised to strike. Leo had to think fast. "I have an idea, but it's not ready yet," he muttered.

"We don't have time for 'not ready'!" Dassa snapped. "What do you need? More Lust Counters?" she asked sarcastically, rubbing her hands together to warm up.

"I could try a spell from the totem the Medicine Man gave me, but I need lust to fuel it," Leo admitted, holding the small artifact tightly.

Dassa sighed. "Right. Pants off."

Leo hesitated, feeling a wave of embarrassment.

He had treated Dassa like an NPC until recently, but now, the closeness between them made him shy. Still, there was no time to be bashful.

"You are right, maybe… a turn on is in order?" Leo suggested awkwardly.

Dassa rolled her eyes but knew they had no choice.

She reached out, her hands settling on his shoulders. Her touch was soft yet purposeful, her fingers grazing his skin with a deliberate, electric precision. The warmth of her touch surged through Leo, building an intensity that made the air feel charged. He could feel it—his Lust Counter recharging, the dormant power within him sparking to life.

"It's working," he murmured, his voice edged with relief as the energy coursed into him.

Wasting no time, Leo summoned his control panel with a sharp thought.

His focus shifted to the totem in his grip, its surface etched with intricate magical codes. This wasn't the first time he'd tapped into the totem's power. Though it was merely a miniature replica of the original totem square, the similarities were unmistakable.

Leo's fingers moved with practiced precision, manipulating the codes embedded in the artifact. He channeled his magic through it, the energy weaving into a spell.

"The fucking wolves are going to eat us", Dassa warned.

The wolves lunged, their jaws snapping, their eyes alight with hunger. But before they could reach him, an invisible barrier erupted from the totem.

The wolves collided with the shield mid-air, their snarls muffled as they were thrown back.

"Got it."

Leo exhaled, his grip tightening on the totem as he steadied himself. The barrier shimmered faintly, holding strong against the assault.

"Nice work. How would you pull that off without me?" Dassa asked, clearly wanting recognition for her efforts to stimulate Leo's lust.

"Can I clock out now?"

"No, just a bit longer… for good luck," Leo replied with a smirk.

Dassa groaned but kept her hands on him. Leo focused harder, and moments later, the wolves were frozen in place, trapped by invisible threads of magic.

"We need to move fast before the spell fades!" Leo said, hoisting Dassa onto the horse.

"As long as you've got my hands, your magic won't fade," Dassa teased.

Leo cracked the reins, and they sped off, leaving the immobilized wolves behind.

------

"What other spells can you extract from the totem?" Dassa asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"There are a few more spells, but my magic isn't strong enough to activate them right now," Leo replied, frustration creeping into his voice.

"You probably just need more hands on the job," Dassa suggested with a mischievous smirk.

"What do you mean?" Leo raised an eyebrow.

"There are plenty of hands at Bagnio La Pleasure, they can give you more lust," she teased.
