034 BITCH SLAP THE ACCUSERS

The Gullee family members had been waiting in the hall for over half a day, growing restless as the young master still hadn't appeared to answer the call for the duel.

Quiet muttering spread among them.

"Is Lilleo going to back out of the fight?"

"Wouldn't surprise me. He's weak—no way he could survive a duel with Lillrune."

"And with his father away, he's as good as dead if he shows up."

"Someone go fetch the young master. We can't wait all day," Lillann, the judge of the duel, ordered the servants, who hurried off to summon the heir.

Moments later, Lillwo stepped forward, addressing the family. "Before the heir arrives, there's something everyone should know about our reckless and disgraceful heir," he said, catching the room's attention.

Lillann narrowed his eyes. "What are you accusing Lilleo of, just before his duel?"

Lillwo gestured, and two men stepped forward—one, a city guard, and the other, a slave trader.

"This guard was assaulted by our heir at the city gates. And this man, an honest merchant, was robbed by the same heir—of both his money and his slave. How can we let such a lawless man represent our family?"

Lillann turned to the witnesses. "Is this true?"

"Yes, we've both been wronged by the heir," they replied, nodding nervously.

The crowd buzzed with whispers.

"Why is the Lieutenant General bringing this up now?"

"He's trying to disgrace the heir."

"He's positioning to have him demoted."

"After this, Lilleo won't be heir of the Gullee family much longer."

Suddenly, a voice rang out from the entrance.

"Wronged? What bloody wrong are you screaming of?" A figure strode into the hall, cloaked and hooded.

He dropped his hood, revealing Lilleo, the heir of the Gullee family.

"Lilleo dares to show his face?"

"Without his father around, what can he do?"

"Lilleo, we were about to send for you," Lillann called out. "What do you say to these accusations?"

Lilleo approached the leader's seat and took his father's to the surprise of the clan and even his accusers. Then he faced his accusers calmly, "These two scums? What do you want?" He stared at the guard and the merchant.

The men immediately began pointing with accusations. "He's the one who beat me!" "He robbed me!"

Lilleo turned to the slave trader. "Robbed you?" he asked, his voice cold.

"Yes," the trader replied, though his voice wavered.

Lillwo cut in. "What do you have to say, Lilleo?"

Lilleo's lips curled into a smirk. "What should I say? Kill them, of course."

The hall erupted in shocked gasps.

"Preposterous!" Lillwo shouted.

"It is unlawful to kill someone in this city", Lillann reprimanded.

"That fucking law doesn't stop any of you if you think you can get away with it, right", Leo asked.

Before anyone could react, Lilleo moved swiftly, kicking the slave trader with brutal force. The man was flung across the hall, crashing into the far wall with a sickening thud. His body lay crumpled and broken, barely alive.

"How dare you kill a witness!" Lillwo roared, his face contorted with rage.

"Blah..blah..blah", Lilleo replied to him as the family watched in shock.

"Is this our weak and cowardly heir?"

"He looks like a General of the army dishing discipline."

Lilleo turned to the city guard, who stood frozen with terror. "And you? What say fucking you," he asked, eyes narrowing.

"No! No, great master! I got the wrong person! It wasn't you! Even if it was, you had every right to hit me! Please, spare my life!" the guard pleaded, falling to his knees.

"There you have it, justice," Lilleo said, turning to the stunned family. "He confessed. I'm innocent."

Lillwo seethed with fury. "And what about the merchant? You silenced him!"

"Him?" Lilleo chuckled. "He's already fuckin dead. Does the dead even have a say in this city? That's bloody news to me."

"You... you!" Lillwo sputtered, his face red with anger.

Before the situation could escalate further, Lillann stepped forward. "Enough. The matter is settled. We will now proceed with the duel between Lilleo and Lillrune."

"Yes, Lillrune," Lillwo called, grasping at the chance for revenge. "Come out and teach this brat a lesson."

"Lillrune?" Lillann called again, but there was no response.

"You've all been so eager to find me," Lilleo taunted, "but no one thought to look for that retard? Am I supposed to fight in an empty arena?"

Lilleo sat on his father's chair fiddling with something, waiting for his opponent to show.

Lillwo's expression twisted in panic. "Where is Lillrune? Why hasn't he shown up?" he demanded.

Servants scrambled, searching every corner of the estate. Eventually, they returned, their faces pale. "We can't find him anywhere," one of them stammered. "He's vanished."

The crowd buzzed with disbelief.

"Lillrune missed the fight?"

"That's not like him. Especially when he had a good chance to win."

"A mystery," Lilleo said with a smirk. "The mystery of the disappearing retard."

"Shut up!" Lillwo snapped angrily.

"Why should I?" Lilleo retorted. "This is my fucking duel, and my cock-less opponent didn't even bother to show. Shouldn't he be the one you should fucking shout at?"

The murmurs among the crowd grew louder as the day dragged on. A decision had to be made.

"Lillrune is absent," Lillwo declared. "We adjourn the duel to another day."

"I disagree!" Lilleo shouted, his voice ringing through the hall.

"You have no right to disagree!" Lillwo roared, but Lillann intervened.

"Lilleo has every right to protest if his challenger fails to appear. I declare Lilleo the winner of this family duel," Lillann announced, his voice firm.

The hall fell silent as Lillwo's fury erupted. "You cannot declare that worthless fool the winner! What right does he have to claim victory?"

The crowd murmured again, unrest growing in the hall.

"It's true. The heir doesn't deserve to win. He's weak."

"We can't let a useless mage claim victory in a family duel. It looks terrible on us."

"Our soldiers won't accept this outcome."
