057 TRAINING AS FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS
The reason Lusifar could grow so quickly was due to the sacrifices of Roses to him which Dassa enabled.
"Lusifar needed to return something to me after feeding off my magic, so part of his demon magic was channeled to my use, I did benefit from his presence. I am also to be blame for being greedy," Leo added.
Dassa pressed further, "And what was the deal between Lusifar and Madame la Rosa? Is she really a bride of the demon?"
"Yes, that part is true," Leo explained. "The Rose Demon was Lusifar's sacrificial vessel and was put in charge of this realm, which once belonged to Lusifar."
"And he resurrected after you absorbed all the magic from the rose garden?" Yun-Yun asked.
"Yes," Leo confirmed. "I think this was his plan all along. Even if we hadn't fucked with them, Madame la Rosa would have eventually come to me eventually to sacrifice everything she gathered back to the demon Lusifar. We just sped up the process and disrupted his resurrection."
"Do you still have the demonic power within you?" Dassa asked.
"Not anymore," Yun-Yun replied. "Leo's magic is his own now, though it's still grounded in empowered lust."
"I still have the Black Cock. My lust came from it not the demon Lusifar", Leo added.
"And it looks like your magic has reached Cakra Svad, minor tier 1," Yun-Yun said.
"Really?" Leo's eyes narrowed as he looked at Yun-Yun. "Strange…I can't see your magic tier anymore."
"Something is happening to the seals on my magic. They are loosening. Perhaps that is the reason?" she replied.
"Did you break your cursed seal when the lightning struck?" Leo asked.
"Maybe. I'm not too sure", she replied.
Yun-Yun's display was strange now, marking her like a potential human player. The information on her box marker was out of place and irrelevant. Usually such random details are captured on human players and not on NPCs.
"Favorite Color: White" "Name of Pet: Sasha"
"Wait, something's different in my game interface," Leo said, frowning as he studied the view in front of him.
"What, did your Black Cock grow another one?" Dassa teased, a mischievous grin on her face.
"Shut up! I'm serious," Leo shot back. "I've got new counters below my Lust bar."
Dassa raised an eyebrow. "That's just the experience bar, you moron. Everyone's got one."
Leo's eyes widened. "I didn't have that before," he said, genuinely surprised.
"That's probably because of Lusifar leeching off you before," Yun-Yun chimed in, her tone thoughtful. "While he was draining you, your magic couldn't grow on its own. It relied on blood sacrifices instead."
"So, now that Lusifar is gone, my experience bar's back?" Leo asked, still trying to wrap his head around it. "This is so much more accurate than guessing when I would level up with my Lust counter alone."
"Good luck filling that fucking thing up, without sacrifices," Dassa snorted.
"Is it really that hard to level up?" Leo asked, glancing between his two companions.
"Normal mages in this world evolve their magic gradually through a slow accumulation of energy," Dassa explained. "But players—like us—can boost their magic much faster by gaining experience."
"Experience?" Leo echoed. "How do we get that?"
"By fighting monsters, completing quests—stuff the fucking System assigns," Dassa replied, shrugging.
"So, I'm basically at the mercy of that fucking System handler to level up my magic?" Leo muttered in frustration.
"There might be another way," Yun-Yun said thoughtfully. "I've helped summoned beings improve their magic through specialized training methods that don't require constant battles. It bypasses the System's control over your development."
"Seriously? You've got a way to grow magic that doesn't involve grinding?" Dassa shot her a skeptical look. "Sounds like a cheat of some kind."
"Yun-Yun, please train me," Leo pleaded. "Maybe you can even help Dassa too."
Dassa waved them off. "Nah, you two can go do your special training together. Count me out of your Friends-with-Benefits routine."
Suddenly, the realm around them shifted.
The rose-filled garden twisted and morphed as enormous stones and tiles rose from the ground, forming a labyrinth of stone passages, locked cells, and ancient dungeons. The rose garden had transformed into a sprawling magic dungeon.
"What's happening?" Leo asked, eyes wide.
Yun-Yun scanned their surroundings with her magic eye. "It's reverting to its original form."
"This was once Lusifar's dungeon," Leo explained. "Before the Rose Demon took over and turned it into a garden."
"So how do we get out of this fucking place now?" Dassa asked impatiently.
"I haven't tried this before," Leo replied, pulling up his special magic inventory.
He tapped on an item labeled Dungeon of Lust, and a prompt appeared: Do you want to uproot this base permanently?
"Yes," he selected.
Instantly, they were transported back to the fountain in Bagnio la Pleasure, and the magic portal was gone.
"Where did the portal go?" Dassa asked.
"I think I took it with me," Leo said.
Suddenly, strange, unclothed women began appearing around them—dozens of them or hundreds maybe. They gathered before Leo, their faces showing confusion and fear.
"What is this?" Leo asked, looking around.
"They're the imprisoned Roses that Madame la Rosa locked away in cages and sent into the sky of the realm. Now that the realm has lost its sky and rose fields, they've been thrown out," Dassa explained.
The Roses quickly fell to their knees, pleading, "Please, spare us, great demon Lusifar!"
"What? Why are you begging me?" Leo asked, startled.
"We saw you destroy Madame la Rosa. Don't kill us as sacrifices! We'll do anything for you," one of the Roses said.
They had witnessed Leo's encounter with Madame la Rosa, mistaking him for Lusifar and fearing he would claim them as sacrifices, too.
"Wait, there's a misunde…—" Leo began to explain, but Dassa pulled him aside.
"Don't be fooled. These women aren't innocent. Whatever got them tangled up with the Rose Demon, they're not blameless. They've taken the essences of many players and castrated them causing plenty of suffering. They need to pay," she whispered.
"What should I do, then? Kill them?" Leo asked quietly.
