072 GUESS WHERE SHE PUTS THE POISON?

072 GUESS WHERE SHE PUTS THE POISON?

"Damn it, you slut was waiting for this a long time I'm sure," Ma-re muttered, fighting his sudden urge.

Unable to resist, he opened the cage and grabbed her, his hands reaching greedily for her.

"Kiss me first," Bara murmured, almost too softly.

"A kiss?" he echoed, surprised. "You really want to kiss me, bitch?"

"What's there to lose?" Bara replied with a hint of a smile, her eyes daring him. "Afraid I might bite?"

Ma-re smirked, considering the offer. A little risk never stopped him before. "I've waited long enough for this," he whispered, leaning in.

"A bite won't hurt me much."

Their lips met, and he was taken aback by the unexpected softness of her kiss. For a fleeting moment, he almost let his guard down—until a strange taste met his tongue.

His eyes widened, and he pulled back, spitting and wiping his mouth frantically, before rinsing his mouth clean with water.

"Afraid my kiss might poison you?" Bara taunted, arching an eyebrow.

"Exactly," he shot back. "I know all about the Kiss of Death—savages like you hiding poison on your lips, hoping to take down good people like me."

Bara shrugged, barely hiding a smirk. "Guess that didn't work out as planned."

Ma-re scanned her carefully, his mind racing. After wiping her lips to be sure she didn't have poison there, he finally relaxed, muttering under his breath. "You nearly gave me a heart attack, you witch."

Then he grasped her face, pulling her back in for another kiss, this time claiming her lips with a mix of suspicion and hunger. She didn't resist, meeting his advance without the slightest hesitation.

Emboldened, his hands trailed down, brushing against her shoulders before slipping beneath the thick fur she wore as her only garment.

He let his mouth roam across her bare breasts, savoring the moment and licking them like a pussy cat.

"Your large breasts are surprisingly…sweet," he murmured, tasting the sweetness of her skin.

"Lick as much as you want," Bara whispered, almost invitingly, groaning even as her eyes steady on his.

Her sudden openness threw him off guard, but his desire overpowered his doubt.

Lust over Caution.

He indulged, letting himself fall into her warmth—until he suddenly staggered, knees buckling beneath him as his vision blurred.

A sharp, triumphant glint flashed in Bara's eyes.

Then his body lost strength too.

Suddenly, Ma-re felt a sharp pain in his chest. Stumbling back, he gasped before falling to the floor.

"Wh—what did you…?"

"Poison," Bara said, stepping away, her calm tone a sharp contrast to his panicked expression as she put on her fur. "With a kiss."

Just then, Kasshyek burst in to the room. "Princess Bara? We're here to get you out."

Ma-re lay on the floor, struggling, as realization hit him. "How did you poison me?"

In an instant, the rat that had been quietly skittering around transformed, revealing itself as a grotesque creature with a mix of rodent and turtle features.

"Told you it'd work better when you put the poison in your breasts, if he taste the poison in your mouth he'll be cautioned but on the breasts, he would consider it like sweet sweat," Letcha, smirked.

"Yeah, I'm talking to the expert", Bara replied.

"What where did you dab the poison?" Kasshyek asked in shock.

"She wanted to put it on her lips at first, but I warned her. Lucky for her she listened to me", Letcha grouted.

"Fuck off stupid rat", Bara scolded him.

Soon, Ma-re fell and Bara smashed a dagger through his heart, killing him.

Bara's rage wasn't quenched with Ma-re's death. She took the dagger and dismembered him before throwing it out the window where many wild dogs roamed around looking for snacks.

"Why is the rat here?" Kasshyek asked.

"It's all Friend Forever's plan. He promised me another Rose to be my companion if I helped him with this. I brought the poison to the big girl and taught her where to put them on", Letcha explained.

"Wait, this isn't supposed to be how we poisoned the mages, we already put the poison in their food", Kasshyek said suddenly.

Shortly before this, Kasshyek's men pretended to be servants and served the mages poison laced food.

"Because this poison isn't meant to kill the mages, it is meant to protect me in case I was assaulted, if the cock-less sucker didn't try anything on me, he might still be alive," Bara explained.

"With those breasts of yours, who can resist", Letcha commented.

"I guess that part is also in his fucking plan, I'll make him eat all of my breasts when I see him," she replied.

"So, the food we sent here was the real poison. This is the stand-by poison", Kasshyek mused to himself.

"There are no ships at the jetty. Did it leave already?" one of the mages asked, scanning the empty harbor.

"The relic stone is close, Ma-ke. We only need to locate it with our compass," replied Ma-san, his eyes narrowing. "The ship must have unloaded it here."

"But why would the Koresh navy leave something so valuable out in the open? They should have transported it directly to one of their naval strongholds," Ma-ke muttered, shaking his head.

The five mages disembarked at the jetty, moving inland, guided by the faint glow of their magic compass. The compass pulsed steadily, pulling them toward the relic.

"Should we be cautious?" Ma-ke asked, glancing around.

"We're walking right into the heart of this. Surely, it'll be guarded."

Ma-san squinted into the distance. "I don't sense anyone nearby."

The compass soon pointed them off-road and into a dense field of unharvested wheat. The mages used their swords to cut a path through the stalks, which towered over them, whispering in the wind as they passed.

"This doesn't make sense," Ma-ke murmured, glancing at the untouched wheat. "The relic stones are huge. It's impossible to transport something so heavy without leaving some trace behind."

"Perhaps they took a different route to bring it here," Ma-san replied, though his tone carried a hint of doubt.
