155 A BREAK OF ENGAGEMENT
Before Mo-an could react, a squadron of battle mages entered the room, their magical auras glowing with power. Their presence drew murmurs of awe from the gathered relatives.
"When did we our soldiers become Svad mages of this caliber?" someone whispered. "I thought our family only had Cakra Mula-level magic users."
"We do now, under him," another muttered begrudgingly. "Rude as he may be, the boy's a genius."
Leo leaned back, gesturing lazily toward the mages. "Usually, they just watch me fuck from behind curtains. Nice to see them doing something useful for once."
The soldiers chuckled, clearly unoffended by their master's crude humor. They were used to them. Coming from Leo those words were praises.
Mo-an's hands twitched, his anger barely contained, but before he could act, a calm, measured voice cut through the tension.
"Elder Mo-an, we didn't come here to fight." Vreena stepped into view, her expression cold and composed.
Mo-an hesitated, exhaling slowly as he regained his composure. "Indeed," he said, his voice even. "We came for a different purpose."
The room held its breath as Mo-an addressed the crowd. "We came to formally break the engagement between Vreena Chalam and Lilleo Gullee. As compensation, the Cloud Mountain Sect offers a selection of magic potions to aid your family's advancements. Additionally, we extend an invitation for Lilleo Gullee to study at our sect."
Whispers rippled through the room, the offer stirring greed among the gathered relatives.
"Magic potions? Those are priceless!"
"What an opportunity for Lilleo to elevate his magic!"
Leo's smirk returned. "Potions and a study offer, huh? How generous of you, Moaning."
Mo-an's face darkened, but he held his tongue. This negotiation was far from over.
Leo leaned back into his chair, his grin sharp and sardonic as he watched the hostility build. The hall was silent as the gathered family members exchanged uneasy glances.
Lillye's voice trembled as he spoke, his worry evident. "There must be some misunderstanding. I need to speak with your father and grandfather, Vreena."
Leo chuckled softly, the sound dripping with mockery. "Misunderstanding? Oh, come on. This whole fucking charade feels like it's been pulled straight from 'Fuck Breaks Sphere.' Who wrote this nonsense? System AI must've binged too much manga!"
An ethereal figure materialized. "Don't blame me for this crappy script," Vanessa quipped. "System AI's the culprit. It probably thought some drama would spice things up."
"This isn't a joke!" Vreena's firm voice cut through the banter.
Her expression was resolute, though faint traces of uncertainty flickered in her eyes. "Lilleo, you're a mere Cakra Mula, barely scratching the surface of magic. I've reached mid tier Svad. The gap between us is insurmountable. Ending the engagement is the only logical decision, agreed upon by my family."
Before anyone could respond, Kasshyek and the guards erupted into laughter. The mocking sound echoed through the hall, drawing gasps of disbelief from some and fury from others.
Elder Mo-an's expression darkened, his voice rising in indignation. "What could possibly be so amusing? Lilleo Gullee is a useless scum!"
Before Kasshyek could retort, the grand doors opened, and a group of dignified figures entered the hall. Their presence commanded immediate attention.
"Well, now," Leo murmured, his smirk widening. "Timing couldn't be better."
The newcomers strode past Vreena and Mo-an, their focus fixed on Leo. At their forefront was an older man dressed in the distinct robes of Sodom City Academy of Magic.
"He is Counselor Huggins," someone whispered in awe. "One of the highest officials of the Academy!"
Huggins offered a polite nod before addressing Leo directly. "On behalf of Dean Faschae, I present you, Lilleo Gullee, with the Academy's highest honor: the Outstanding Genius of Sodom City Academy of Magic Award. With this comes unlimited access to the Academy's resources and a lifetime honorary counselor title upon graduation."
The room fell into stunned silence. Even Lillye seemed at a loss.
"An honorary counselor?" someone muttered. "That's unprecedented!"
Huggins smiled briefly before turning to leave. "I have urgent matters to attend to. The award ceremony date will be announced shortly. Make sure you're there, Lilleo."
As the Counselor departed, Grammers stepped forward, his gaze falling on the potions presented by Mo-an's entourage. He picked up one of the bottles, sniffed it, then poured it disdainfully onto the floor.
Mo-an's fury was immediate. "How dare you! Do you have any idea how valuable those potions are?"
"Valuable?" Grammers sneered. "Even the potions we give our dogs are better than this trash."
Gasps rippled through the crowd as maids appeared, carrying ornate boxes brimming with luminous vials. Megane followed, her posture confident and poised.
"Our pharmacy launches next week," she explained, her tone light but commanding. "These are samples of our products, provided to soldiers—and yes, even pets."
"Pharmacy?" Lillye stammered, his confusion evident.
Leo nodded casually. "Allow me to introduce Megane, my business partner. Together, we've founded the Lilleo-Megane Pharmacy. Our first store opens next week."
Lillye blinked, overwhelmed by the revelation. "Why didn't you tell me? I thought you only opened a brothel."
Kasshyek stepped in, his tone measured but proud. "Young master Lilleo's business ventures span far beyond pharmacy. Security, entertainment, medicine—our family's success in Sodom City is largely thanks to him."
Elder Mo-an's gaze darted to Vreena, his frustration bubbling. "This is the useless failure you wish to break ties with?"
Vreena, flustered, stammered, "He's still a Cakra Mula!"
Kasshyek chuckled softly. "A misconception, I assure you. The young master's cloak is enchanted to conceal his true abilities. You see he is humble. He is no longer Cakra Mula. In fact, he is a mid-tier Svad mage—the hero of Sodom City and the only survivor of the Sodom ruins expedition."
The room erupted into shocked murmurs.
Leo waved a hand dismissively, his voice cutting through the noise. "Enough of this fucking show. It bores me. Breaking this engagement? I'll consider it a favor."
He gestured to the gleaming potions his maids carried. "Take one of these boxes of superior potions as compensation. Now, begone."
Mo-an's face twisted in anger, but before he could retort, Leo added with a smirk, "Or are they not enough? Perhaps I should offer you another box if Vreena strips in front of everyone right here? I'll even throw in a potion of 'Jaguar' for your... soft cock."
The crowd gasped, scandalized.
