Chapter 119

Blake's POV

Today I was meeting up with a witch my father recommended would help me with what I need. Once my father got better, I told him and mom the truth about the situation. It was hard to believe and digest, but they got around it. That's when my father put me in touch with a witch that would be kind enough to tell us something about how to get hellfire.

I was going to go with Kyle for the appointment, but Brielle insisted on coming with me. I didn't want her to come, but she is a stubborn one. She wouldn't let up. The witch we were scheduled to meet lives in another area in the forest. My father drew a map for us so we should be able to find the place.

While driving around the place, Brielle fell asleep. I let her rest. It was going to be a 2-hour drive to our destination. Halfway through the drive, she woke up. I stopped at the gas station to refill and get some snacks. I stayed outside as the gas got filled and Brielle went to handle the snacks.

After a few minutes, Brielle came back out with a bunch of snacks. Too many if you asked me. She was acting strangely. I have never seen her eat this much, but hey, I guess a road trip calls for snacks.

We hit the road again. She turned on the music and sang along. It was a breath of fresh air to see her so care free after the tense situation we were facing. I made a mental note to myself that when this is all over, we'll go on a real road trip and have a good time without any drama.

We finally made it. I parked the car and Brielle and I got out. I had the map my father gave us at hand.

"So where do we go?" Brielle asks, like age is ready for a hike.

" I think we should just go straight. Maybe there will be routes ahead that can help us navigate this map."

We walked into the forest, and we got lost a few times, went around in circles until suddenly the path got clear. It's like we suddenly knew where to go. After walking for some time, we saw the cabin my father talked about. It was strange. We were walking around for a long time, but we didn't see this house.

The only explanation for this bizarre incident is that the witch cloaked her house. She must have unlocked it because she knows we are here. Couldn't she have done it sooner? I guess that doesn't matter. As long as we get to her and she helps us.

We knocked on the door and waited for a response. It was silent and unclear if it was occupied.

" Do you think she is inside?" Brielle asked.

At that moment, the door opened, but there was no one. It opened on its own. Brielle and I looked at each other in confusion.

I walked inside first. Seeing that nothing was wrong, I ushered Brielle inside. She grabbed on to my arm and held on. She was scared. I guess she is no longer used to witchy stuff.

" Hello! Is anyone home?!" I called out before we could proceed. The door shut behind, startling us. Brielle held on tighter.

" Don't worry. Nothing will happen. Let's just go on."

" Why isn't she coming to greet us? She is acting creepy and mysterious," Brielle said.

" Well find out when we see her."

We walked down the corridor until we came into the living room. The room had so many ornaments, foreign objects, writing and drawing on the walls. In the middle of the room was a middle-aged woman sitting in front of a table. On the table was a blue orb. Her hands were placed on the orb, and she had her eyes closed.

She didn't look old or young, but her hair was fully gray. She had tattoos on visible parts of her body.

After a little while, she opened her eyes.

" I see, you have arrived, Alpha Blake," she said, getting up to greet us with a smile.

" This must be, Luna Brielle."

" Forgive us for our intrusion. We came inside without your permission."

" No need for that. I allowed you to come inside. If I didn't, you wouldn't have been able to come inside."

" Thank you. It's nice to meet you. I would like to thank you again for agreeing to meet with us at short notice."

" It's not a problem, young man. I owe your father a favor. Since I haven't been able to repay him, I'll consider this my gratitude to him."

She was so kind. I didn't feel anything off about her.

" It must have been a long journey. Please, feel at ease and take your seats." She ushered us to sit on the couch.

" My name is Kyra Danver. As your father must have told you, I am a witch. I understand that you need my help with something regarding hell fire. Am I right?"

" Yes. The hellfire is what brought us here. We were hoping you might have some insight about it," I replied.

" Ofcourse. Before we get into business, would you like some tea or water?"

" A glass of water will do."

She disappeared, leaving us in the room. Brielle finally relaxed.

" Are you okay? You have been awfully quiet."

" I am alright. I just think I ate too much junk, it's upsetting my stomach a little."

" Do you need to go to the bathroom?" I asked, worried.

" No, I'll be alright."

Kyra came back and handed us the glasses of water.

After we quenched our thirst, it was time to get to business. Kyra assumed her previous position.

" Firstly, I would like to tell you that getting hell fire is dangerous. There might be a price to pay for it. Are you ready?"

Price to pay? It sounds dangerous indeed, but we do need it. I'll hear her out before I decide what to do.

" We understand,"I replied, squeezing Brielle's hand.

She looked me as if she was saying," do you know what you are putting yourself into"

I know that it's dangerous and I wasn't planning to recklessly do anything. I just needed to know if there was anyway around the danger.

" Alright, then. I will you everything that you need to know about the hellfire." Kyra says

" Hell fire, as it's name, it's from hell. No living person can get that fire. Dead or live, you can't get it. But, there is another way to get it."

" What is it?" I asked

" The only way is to summon a demon from hell. Once that is done, you make a pact and it will bring hellfire for you." She says looking at me.

" Whatever the pact is, will be between you and the demon."

Demon? I guess I should have know. It's hell we are talking about after all."
