"Don't make any noise, or he'll notice!"
Asa began to move forward, slowly and cautiously, step by step. The chain barely made a sound.
Silent like a cat, he crept without a trace. His sharp gaze observed every movement of Flores Moreno with intense focus, ready to retreat at the first sign of danger.
As long as he hadn't attacked yet, retreat was still possible. But once he made a move, there would be no turning back.
Flores Moreno was massive and snored thunderously, enough to mask even the slightest accidental noise Asa might make.
"In the first two trials, his Observation Haki wasn't very advanced. He relied mostly on brute strength and Armament Haki. I should be able to slip past him."
Asa continued inching forward, the pressure mounting with every step.
It took him half an hour to cover just three meters. Now he was close enough to see every ferocious detail on Flores Moreno's face.
Steadying his breath, Asa began to focus his recovered strength.
Success or failure depended on this single strike.
He suddenly felt the same thrill he experienced when facing the rising sea current on Gaya Island—risking his life against overwhelming odds.
There was only one chance.
And at that exact moment…
"Bah la la... what a funny little devil."
The faint voice reached Asa's extremely sharp ears. He turned his head to see, in the cell diagonally opposite, embedded within eternal ice, a pair of eyes staring at him with amusement.
He froze.
The figure within the ice had a light green beard, a broken horn on his head, and eyes brimming with madness, aggression, and violence.
"Bundy Walder?" Asa was shocked, instantly recognizing the name.
Over the past ten days, he hadn't noticed the "World Destroyer" frozen in the cell across from him...
"He's sealed in ice, but can still speak? What the hell..."
Asa didn't have time to dwell on it. Bundy Walder clearly had no intention of exposing him.
Frozen in boredom, the sight of Asa had sparked his interest—and he wanted to see more.
"Tch! Lucky he didn't shout it out. If I had to retreat now, launching a second attempt wouldn't be so simple."
Asa took Bundy Walder's silence as an unspoken favor. No more hesitation—he moved.
After adjusting his posture and channeling all the power in his body, Asa lunged at Flores Moreno like a cheetah, every ounce of his strength behind the attack.
His bent elbow targeted the throat—slamming into it hard.
Boom!!
"AHHH!!!"
A muffled crack echoed, followed by a piercing scream. Flores Moreno, awakened by the intense pain, shrieked like a slaughtered pig.
Asa, knowing full well his strength hadn't fully recovered and that the elbow strike alone wouldn't be fatal, didn't panic.
In that split second before Flores could react—
Asa bared his white teeth and bit hard into the artery in his neck.
"URRGHHHH!!!"
The pained cries echoed across Infinite Hell, waking every slumbering criminal to witness the harrowing scene.
"You little... bastard! LET GO!!"
Flores Moreno, driven mad by the pain, veins bulging from his forehead, thrashed wildly. One thick arm gripped Asa's neck, the other pushing against him with all his might.
Blood gushed out, drenching Asa's face and hair, spilling to the ground in a steady stream.
Asa's face flushed red from the choking grip, but his bite refused to loosen. Letting go would mean death—Flores Moreno's counterattack would be fatal.
There was no retreat. Only survival.
It was a contest of who would die first.
"AHHHH!!"
Flores Moreno screamed, slamming his fist repeatedly against Asa's head.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Punch after punch landed. Asa's eyes went bloodshot, blurred by blood flowing from Moreno's neck into his eyes...
Time ticked by. The strength behind each punch faded. Asa's brain began to suffer from lack of oxygen, and his consciousness wavered.
"Still not dead? His vitality is insane..."
Asa gritted his teeth harder, sinking deep into the neck muscles, resolved to finish it.
"Ugh... uh..."
Flores Moreno's kicks slowed. His pupils dilated. The light in his eyes faded, and his hands fell weakly to the floor.
His head slumped to the side—lifeless.
The severed artery continued spraying blood, his body twitching before going still.
"Huff... Huff... Huff..."
Asa collapsed, panting heavily. After a moment, a wide grin crept across his face. With the last of his strength, he covered his blood-soaked forehead and laughed maniacally.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"
Laughter rang throughout Infinite Hell.
Blood continued dripping from his hair and face. His body sprawled across a pool of blood—like a demon born from carnage.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!"
"Hiss... this brat…"
"Flores Moreno bled to death! That was brutal!"
"This kid... he's insane…"
The other prisoners, now fully awake, didn't dare miss such a show. Eyes wide, they stared at Asa, still locked in his savage bite.
In Infinite Hell, death was common—most died of starvation or beatings. But to be bled out like this? That was new.
"Bundy Walder! I owe you one!" Asa stood with difficulty. His body was drained.
"Bah la la la la!" Bundy Walder's laugh echoed from within the ice. "Your favor? How many Baileys is that worth? Can it destroy everything that stands in my way?
La la la la la!"
"HAHAHAHAHA! If you're told to suffer, then suffer! My favor is worth more than your life, idiot!" Asa sneered arrogantly. He knew Bundy Walder's usual mantra.
"Arrogant brat, can your favor get me out of this prison?" Bundy Walder scoffed from within the ice.
"Hahaha, who knows?" Asa replied meaningfully. As long as nothing went wrong—escape was just a matter of time.
"You're not just any brat... so young, and so ruthless. You bled a man to death?"
Piercing the aorta and leaving it unchecked, the body gradually goes cold as life slips away.
That slow, helpless descent into death—few can endure it.
Asa normally killed swiftly, with precise strikes.
But this was different. His strength was still recovering. Flores Moreno had provoked him one too many times... and Asa had no intention of letting him live.
